A glint of hope (Part 1)

😌 Long ago, there lived a girl,

whose life had just begun to unfurl.

She was as pure as a pearl,

And had just started to love the world.

😌 Initially, she was very happy,

But people around her were snappy.

This made her unhappy

And her life turned crappy.

😌 They were extremely oppressive

And this made her aggressive.

Though she was really impressive,

All this made her depressive.

😌 Her life, she started hating,

For small, happy moments she began waiting.

In skating, she began recreating,

And all her pessimism- negating.

😌 But before she could enjoy,

People began to annoy.

This caused her joy to be destroy(ed)

So, skating too, she began to avoid.

😌 Slowly, her interests started to decline

And she started loosing her shine.

Gradually, she decided to surrender to the divine,

And from others, started to confine.

😌 She felt very lonely

And began living with herself - closely.

She lost her confidence slowly

And stopped being homely.

😌 Skating, she began disliking

Everyday, her tears she started wiping.

With many, she began fighting

And for most of her life she began lying.
