The World's Breakdown

Everything was going smoothly until something decided to intervene, and the system was introduced. This brought about a new change that the residents of Earth are forced to adapt to. What will happen now that everything that was once thought of as fantasy turned out to be reality? ------‐--------------‐--------------‐--------------‐--------------‐-------- Hey everyone, author here, I plan on regularly updating this story since this is something I started a while ago but has been sitting on the backburner for a while. Repairs And Realization

I really don't like how happy go lucky the system sounded, but sadly there was nothing I could do about it. I went back inside after having my stone golems guard the perimeter, and sending my builder golems back out to continue on the wall. I started browsing the store while eating my breakfast for the day. If you could think of it, the shop had it. The only exception was food or water.

It did have plant seeds, and farm animals though, so I will have to start a farm as soon as possible. I kept browsing and checked my current skills. My golemancy and inventory went up a rank. That gave me hope in taking on that dungeon. I don't think I can send golems to take it down anytime soon though. I want to at least have a full squad of E rank golems. In order to do that though, I would need to either upgrade my golemancy again, or rank up some more golems by having them kill monsters. I'll probably have to do it through the latter option, rather than the former.

The electricity is still running, but I don't know how much longer that will last. I currently have 10,000 credits to utilize within the system. I bought an electrical grid and heating for 2000 credits. It was pricey, but apparently it would last as long as magic cores were supplied to it, and I could get magic cores from monsters. I had a large amount of low quality cores from the goblins, and it would power it for a while. I spent a small amount of credits getting a good amount of plant seeds like wheat and rice.

I made new golems that were F rank specifically for farming and they were made out of stone. I sent them to the back of my home to start my farm and handed them seeds and farming tools to work with. I also made better builder golems to get the wall done faster so I could possibly start working on other facilities.

Before I made an absolute mess of my house any further, I made two golems for housekeeping, cleaning, cooking, etc. Then I made four F rank golems out of stone. After that, I decided to finally take a nap. I needed to stop by the scrapyard again and take everything left there since my inventory should have enough space now. I woke up after sleeping for longer than I wanted to. I slept for around eight hours. I must have been mentally exhausted.  Thankfully there were only skirmishes here and there with a small amount of goblins. I collected their corpses and noticed that the walls were almost finished.

After getting some more food in my stomach and chugging down some water, I brought along two of my stone golems with me and drove around the dungeon at a far distance to get to the junkyard. Once there, I took everything and the place was devoid of anything of use by the time I was done with it.  Then I drove around to any place that looked remotely abandoned, and took anything I could.

During that time I had some run-ins with some goblins and what I could only describe as ratmen or kobolds. My golems made quick work of them. I noticed that it seemed like my golems acted as if they had a good amount of experience with the weapon they wielded due to the rank up. It was interesting and somewhat vomit-inducing seeing the goblins and kobolds cut down or stabbed, but I forced myself to witness it since clearly this is going to be my life now. I didn't spot any humans, which can be a bad and good sign honestly. Bad because while my area doesn't have a large population, they either were killed by monsters or evacuated.

Good because it means I don't have to worry about anyone else right now. It got me thinking about the whole monster situation as I was looting nearby houses. Will I eventually encounter fantasy beings like dwarves, elves, and yokai? It's a likely possibility at this point. I also doubt that they will be friendly at first or at all so I should start preparing traps around my house, and maybe look into expanding my house if I can.
