Chapter 106 Dreams

I stood there shocked at what I was reading. Apparently, there were lessons on how to sing various Empress songs. I personally thought that these songs were lacking, and the music did not fit with the words but that is apparently what we are doing today. At least it was not swordsmanship or riding today. I was pretty sure that I would not be able to handle those tasks today without hurting myself further. Henry saw me and stopped trying to sing the songs. His eyes went wide, and he looked extremely ashamed. I tried to figure out what caused his reaction when a knock was heard behind me. As I turned around to see who it was, the door opened, and The Lady stood there before me with a hand on her hip. She motioned for me to follow her, and we both left the room. A few steps away from the room I heard the music start back up and I just shook my head.
