As the seconds ticked by, a dark, menacing shadow began to take shape in the corner of the room. A wicked, chilling grin slowly spread across his face as he moved forward with deliberate steps, the sound of his footsteps reverberating through the empty halls. "Well, well, well, what do we have here?" he sneered.
Dahlia's heart nearly stopped beating at the very moment she came face to face with Tobias. He was clad in all white from head to toe, standing out in the dark halls.
"What brings you to this side of the castle, Dahlia dear?"
That voice. Once again, hearing it sent massive shivers down her spine. Straightening her back and clearing her throat so as not to look scared or panicked, Dahlia replied. "I was just taking a walk." She voiced the only explanation she could come up with on the spot.
"You were taking a walk? In the isolated part of the castle where no one goes to?" He looked at her suspiciously.
