Chapter 64
Niya powers her fighting stance as the runner comes closer and closer to the shack. Someone knows about this place because their steps are sure but hasty. A familiar scent hits her but her mind is clouded with so much anger that she can’t place who it can be! She doesn’t care; she will tear the intruder apart with her bare hands. She looks back once at her sister before fixing her gaze on the threshold. When she finally notices a silhouette stopping she bends forward very slightly prepared for a transformation if required. Her heart catches fire when the he-wolf emerges through the entrance inside the shack. Something clicks inside her, a subtle shift like a door has been opened and her eyes start burning with blue fire.
“You!” Niya growls. Before her Remy stands fully clothed and panting with a look of horror in his eyes.
