Chapter 52
Chase is sitting on his bed contemplating to lie down and rest his tried muscles. This was supposed to be a joyous day, a day to remember and reflect back whenever he will need to in the future, but it turned out to be horrifying. He thought nothing could be more saddening or terrifying to witness than what he has already seen but when he walked up to Tristan’s mother and disclosed the news, he realized that there is nothing more painful and terrible to witness than a mother’s face when she loses her own flesh and blood.
