Promise

Three days after Asa's death, Sophie wakes from fainting.

Seven months later, Sophie still can't move from losing Asa. Every day feels so hard. Her sleeping time was unconditional, nor appetite at everything, nor her spirit of living. The incident feels like yesterday after this long. Mom was worried about Sophie always locking herself in the room. A picture of him makes her miserable deeply. She wishes she could escape this misery. Happiness lies. Does happiness lie? The world that we are living in now is full of pitiful. Maybe you think that Sophie is weak. Things are out of control.

It's easy to say, but it's never the same when you suffer it. People might tell you that 'the broken one grows, the lost one replaces, and the injured one heals.' but in reality, you could disagree with the words because it's easy to motivate people but never the same to do with yourself.

After several times Jessie tries to talk to Sophie, "Please come out, dear! I'm so worried about--- "Hush! Please leave me alone, mom!" Interrupted Sophie with a loud voice. Mom got so concerned about Sophie's condition because her mental health got affected. She gets stuck in bed and stares into nothing. All time, all night, this condition was so hurtful.

All memories that she had with Asa were replaying. She got stuck behind the wall of memories.

All people have experienced heartbreak, this is a common thing for anybody, but when someone who truly cares about you is gone, it's another level of losing.

One fine night in the past, Asa has been up at his favorite place with Sophie. The weather was cloudy, making the night flow with wellness. Asa started to sing, and Sophie's eyesight straight on Asa. " What scared you the most?" interrupted Sophie while Asa sang. " Hmm, it's a difficult question, but I think what scared me the most is--- " No, no, no! Don't say that what scared you the most is a duck, hahaha.--- " Hahahaha, that's much better than being scared of a grasshopper, hahaha--- They were so happy that night. "I'm seriously asking"--- "Okay! Indeed, dying before you is what scared me the most!" Answered Asa. Sophie got teary and sluggish. " You are making me so emotional. What is the purpose of this?--- We can't see the future, but one thing that will I assure you, Sophie! I will not let you see me dying." Promised Asa. That was a memorable night. He tries to beat the path by his promise.

Their love story continued and got deeper day by day. When Asa was alive, he always put a bunch of baby's breath on Sophie's window every July twenty-seven. He did it to memorate the first day of meeting Sophie. The emptiness that she had has gone since she met him. He did it consistently eleven times in their relationship, and currently, he died. That was so hurtful to imagine what Sophie had been through after losing Asa these several months. Sophie lost her father when she was a baby, more now she lost Asa. This hit differently.

Such beautiful days that they had. Spending time together. They have been through many things, completing each other, and all hardness becomes easier for them--because the relationship is power-- Now, restlessness has turned into hurt. The promise that Asa made, the memories they have turned into sadness.

After she wakes from fainting, Sophie still doesn't know the purpose of Asa's death.

July 25

Currently, Sophie has tried to move from the hardness of losing Asa. Sophie remembers when he said, ' I will always be here(while poking her chest). No matter when I'm lost or dead.' Mumbled Sophie with a little smile on her face.

July 26

Sophie went to Asa's apartment. She cleans the messy room and washes all his dirty clothes. Suddenly, She saw the diagnosis paper under the blanket. Her eyes get teary. She found out that Asa died of Chronic lymphocytic leukemia.

After cleaning the rooms, Sophie fell asleep on the bed while hugging Asa's favorite guitar. Such a tiring day.

July 27

The dawn gets started to shine with its lovely air. And the vehicles began to be heard on the highway. Sophie wakes.

Suddenly, She heard chirping outside the window. She gets up to check the sounds. She opens the window and finds a bunch of flowers, so unexpected. She surprisingly took the flower, and suddenly, a dove flew toward Sophie and warbled so loud. It's like the dove saying something to Sophie. Chirp, Chirp, Chirp, the warble sounds clearer. The flower and The white dove. Things happened so strangely today. Sophie was confused and wondered. " This is my favorite flower! Who put this here? Is there anyone outside there?" Sophie was still ignoring the dove. Who would expect about the dove?!! The flower smells like Sophie's favorite perfume making her wonder more.

" This is me, Ms. Archeologist!" Talked the bird. How shocked Sophie was after she heard a calling her as how Asa called her.

" Hah? How can? For real? Asa died nine months ago. I can't believe this." Sophie said with a confused expression while the dove was in her hand.

" Baby, this is true I am, Asa! I was reborn as a Dove. I know this was unimaginable and unlogic, but this is the truth. I have reincarnated as a dove. I'm so sorry for making you wait this long. I can't do more, baby! Today is the right time for me to tell you the truth because this is our memorable date. I promised, and this is the form of true love. No matter when or even no matter space or time. I will always be there by your side in every universe." Explained the dove.

" If this is truly you, why did you come so long? Did you know what happened to me after seeing you die? It's not easy for me." Sophie still can't believe the dove confession.

" I can't do more, baby! I was not able to do things like a human. That time was hurting me so badly to do nothing about your sadness. I'm just a dove. All I can do is only oversees you behind the border, which was hurting me so badly. It kills me to see you like that. No worries, baby! I will always be with you no matter when." Assured the dove. He(Asa) will never disappoint Sophie.

The clue and the sign of what the dove did were so real.

After all, Sophie still doubts about all that happened this morning and the bird's told. She has read much faith and believes that reincarnation is real. Now, She tries to look back that the dove is the incarnation of Asa.

Entering The Miracle World

The nightmare has ended. The sorrows have gone between them. After a long time of not seeing each other, they're together again though Asa is a dove. They are through times together back after several years with no meeting.

The next day, Sophie went to her house and took all the things due to move to Asa's apartment. When she got there, the grandma was there at Sophie's house.

" Sophie! Do you know why I am here? I think you already know why! Something you stole from my warehouse is the most wanted thing in the last few centuries? You should give me back the shit, please!" Grandma hopes in a forceful tone.

Jessie heard what they talked about and has shocked, " What do you mean by the most wanted thing in the last few centuries, grandma?", Asked Jessie while coming over to them from the kitchen.

" Yeah, Everyone was looking for the thing. It was a liaison between this world to the eternal world where any impossibilities can be possible in that world. Some enough reasons why everyone wanted this shit." Explained grandma.

" I heard about that. It is a connector between imagination and reality, which is the illusion is reality. The world where all miracles are just a common thing. The world where any dead creatures went. The world is called 'Eternal Verse.' " Add Jessie.

" Sophie! Everyone was still finding this shit. We could keep this shit with all we have because this shit is sacred. If somebody heard about what we have talked about just now, the situation would get worst. All clear! That's why I'm coming here. I will take the suitcase back, Sophie!" Asked grandma while holding out her hand.

Sophie hastes to her room and gets the suitcase " I'm so sorry, grandma! But I can't give you this back --Grandma pulls and tries to snatch the shit from Sophie's hand.

When Sophie and her grandmother were fighting over the suitcase, suddenly someone entered the house, which shocked people. The man wore thick black clothes with the style of a killer, ready to pounce on his prey. This person immediately pointed the gun and said, "Hands over the suitcase! I have heard everything you said just now, or I will shoot everyone here." Sophie and everyone else were terrified and motionless. The trunk is in Grandma's hands.

"I will never let this suitcase fall into evil hands, especially for someone like you. Everybody can see that your face looks rotten and evil." the grandmother was loudly and bravely.

"Don't you know who I am, huh? I'm a person who can kill people just by looking into their eyes. They call me 'The soul killer' hahaha, I suggest you hand over the case immediately. ' threatened the man who called himself a murderer.

" IF YOU WANT TO TAKE THIS SUITCASE, STEP OVER MY CORPSE FIRST!" replied the grandmother.

Jessie and Sophie were looking down and motionless. Then, the Pigeon said something to Sophie, "Sophie! Don't be afraid, honey! I'm here. I'll protect you."

The atmosphere is getting tense. The grandma is determined not to give the suitcase,

"Yo, old fart! I'm asking you for the last time. Hand over the suitcase quickly! Or you will die!" The man was very annoyed and threatened one last time.

Then the grandmother replied, "Once I said no, still no!--- BOOM!!! The man in black shot his gun right at the grandmother's head.

At the same time, the white dove flew toward the gunshot. A spark has seen there as the dove stopped the time. The dove deflected the bullet by kicking it with its tiny feet toward the face of the man in black. Bummmmm, the sound of explosions, the flying bullets missed the man in black.

The man in black was shocked and fell after seeing what the dove was doing, " You look good to be my meal tonight, Mr. Pigeon! Don't try to mess with me! you guys in this universe are very annoying." Said the man in black with an emotional face.

The dove flew around, trying to distract the man in black for Sophie, her mother, and her grandmother to run away. "Sophie! Get the suitcase, then quickly run away, and with mom and grandma from here right now, I can only buy time so you guys can get out. Hurry up!"

Sophie said, "Okay, but make sure you catch up with us as soon as possible!"

"Okay! Sweetheart!" the dove replied in a reassuring tone.

Then, while the dove was distracting the man in black, Sophie and the others ran off in the car to Grandma's house. In the car, Grandma asked Sophie,

"Who exactly is the dove that helped us? Why does it speak and have powers that seem to come from another world?"

"I'm still confused about who the white dove is! I was also so surprised to find out that she could talk to me. She claimed to be Asa's incarnation! I still have my doubts." Sophie said. "Grandma! You have some knowledge about reincarnation, don't you?" Sophie added.

She replied, "Yes! I do know about reincarnation. Every being from every universe is the same being. If someone dies before they complete the purpose of life, then they will be reborn in another form as a living being in any universe. But I've never seen a case like this. He was born as a pigeon. And he has powers that come from another universe. It's a rare case."

"I was devastated a while ago by Asa's death! Now there seems to be a sliver of hope for me to see him again. There are some similarities between the dove and Asa. I have to prove it. Is there any way for me to prove it or turn the dove into a human?" Sophie asked and was pleased.

"There is a way! The way is difficult and risky. Your life is at stake if you want to take this route. I can't let you do it!" She replied.

"I'm begging you, grandma! I don't care what it takes. I want to live together for a second time with him! I can't lose him." Sophie pleased.

"Hmm, well, there's only one way to turn the impossible into reality; to convert the form of a living being. It's only by entering the Eternal Universe." there is a tree called the "Tree of Life." a tree that emits spring water from a crack in the roots. The water is called "Vivere." Anyone who drinks the water could be immortal, and wishes can come true. However, the worst possibility is whoever enters the world will never be able to return to their original world and disappear from the entire universe." The grandmother replied.

"How do you enter the 'Eternal World'?" Sophie asked.

"Look down!" Yes, that's right! They looked at the suitcase at the bottom. Inside there is an ancient manuscript that shows you how to enter the "Eternal World." not many people could read the manuscript, not even me." Explained grandma.

Sophie's mother (Jessie) was driving the car. She doesn't pay much attention to the conversation between Sophie and Grandma. After a while, they arrived at grandma's house. Sophie was waiting and worried about the dove. She won't know what happens to the dove.

Suddenly, a teleportation hollow popped out of the wall when Sophie and the others entered the house.
