Unveiling the Darkness

In the dimly lit interrogation room, the leader of the Shadows sat tied to a chair, their identity still shrouded in darkness. Detective Alice Monroe, her expression strong, began the questioning.

"Who are you, and what is the purpose of the Shadows?" she demanded, her voice unwavering.

The Decay remained silent, their gaze fixed on a distant point. They seemed unperturbed by the proceedings, a master of their own enigmatic game.

Monroe continued with her inquiries, each question met with a solid wall of silence. The Decay's silence was evidence to their resolve and their unwavering dedication to their cause.

But then, a sudden burst of emotion erupted from Kristy. She couldn't contain her sorrow and anger any longer, and the barrier that had held back her emotions shattered. "You monster!" she shouted, her voice mixed with rage. "You killed Yora! He was innocent, just a high school student. What did he ever do to you?"

The Decay smiled, and he finally spoke. "We didn't kill any children or high school students. Our work was directed toward politicians and those who plunged the world into chaos. But I do remember Yora's name."

Confusion swept over everyone. "You remember Yora's name?" Leo asked, his voice filled with disbelief. "Why? What connection did he have to your actions?"

The Decay's gaze turned cold as he continued. "One of my clients asked me to kill a man named Yora, and they offered a considerable sum of money. I refused. The Shadows aren't mercenaries for anyone who waves a coin."

Kristy's eyes widened, her anger turned into confusion. "So, someone hired you to kill Yora, but you didn't do it?"

A tense silence filled the room. While this discussing was going on someone knocked the door. It was an officer, he was asked to interrogate the other members of the Shadows. "Ma'am, this is the info I got. It turns out one of them was a traitor to the Shadows." said the Officer.

One of the Shadows members, driven by greed, had betrayed their leader and taken the offer to eliminate Yora for money. "Can I meet him." said Decay. Detective Monroe allowed it.

As soon as Decay reached the place where all the other members were imprisoned. Decay turned his gaze to one of their own, the traitor. "You," he hissed, his voice dripping with anger. "You betrayed the Shadows for some money and you spilled innocent blood. You killed that boy named Yora."

The traitor trembled, realizing the depth of his betrayal. In an instant, Decay acted without hesitation. With a swift, ruthless motion, he smashed the traitors head and ended the traitor's life.

The room was left in shocked silence, the truth uncovered but at a grim cost. The leader, Decay, still held the key to a dark puzzle and Kristy, Leo and Detective Monroe were left with a sense of justice that was far from complete.
