I felt like my body was being run over by a truck. The pain was immense. Doctor Dimitri was supposed to give me something to reduce the pain, but he was not here. It was Evan only. But he was no doctor. The poor guy looked just as confused as I felt. At least, my consciousness told me to just push and not think about anything else. 

I bit into Evan's hand that he placed in my mouth to prevent me from biting my tongue and lips. I dug my fingers into the skin of his arm as I gave another hard push. It was working, or maybe it was not. I was not sure. I could understand nothing. There was only pain. 

I motioned for Evan to take his hand back from my mouth, which he did. I panted, trying to catch my breath. 

"I can't… Oh… It feels too… Can you just cut it out?"

"What?"
