Blood

(From Blue's Perspective)

I sat up with difficulty on the bed. I had fallen unconscious at some point. My back hurt less than before. But it was still very uncomfortable.

Although it hurt me a lot to move, I still changed my clothes by myself. Cyan had been in the room as usual.

I truly thought he was on my side. But I was wrong. I was very wrong.

In front of so many people, I was marked. They shouted happily as if it was a celebration. Remembering that made me feel sick.

I wondered what Dem was doing now. Was he doing okay? I had a feeling he was not. Was he eating well at least?

When I was sick, Dem barely ate anything. Now that I was missing, it was not hard to imagine his condition.

If only he knew, he would have done anything to save me. To be fair, I was glad he did not know. He could not win against those dark mages, especially Azure. I did not want his life to be in danger.
