A year ago.
"I seem to bump into you everywhere."
There is a smile on his face. Unlike the beginning, he seems happy to see me. I have tried everything to get him to notice me but Alanis is always on his own. He doesn't like to mix with us as mere humans. I see the look in his eyes, there is attraction.
He wants me but he wants to deny it.
"Guess we were meant to meet," I blush crimson. We are in the hallways of school. He leans forward until he is so close to me, I take a deep breath and he smells so good-a mixture of some macho cologne and coffee. Suddenly I am not just thinking of how he would be able to give me everything I want, but how I can get love from this too.
