As Alex went upstairs to get changed, Grandpa Wu walked into the central room and approached a man dressed in a black suit, the man had a scar across his face and he was staring at the desk with a complicated expression on his face. His black hair was a mess, a deep contrast to the rest of his outfit, looking up from the desk he said" Is it time for the ball? Why haven't you gone already?"

Grandpa Wu smiled and said" Master we had to come back so young master could get changed for the ball. I have a matter to discuss with you, on the way back young master enquired about cultivation but more specifically, Qi with the blood attribute."

The man in his suit paused what he was doing and slowly got up from his desk, the pressure flowing out of his body forced Grandpa Wu to his knees with a tyrannical look in his eyes the man said"Are you sure about this? Who told him about this? Was anyone else in the car with you at the time?"

"No it was just me and young master, Master can you please ease up the pressure? My old bones can't take it anymore."

Realising that he had exerted too much strength, the man calmed his aura and said" Tell him if he wants more information on blood Qi then he should come and ask me. It is a sensitive topic and I need to be sure that no one suspects that our family can use it, if they do then not even my strength will be able to save us."

Grandpa Wu sighed and said," Young master will most likely drop the subject, it appears that he has no plans to forgive you or Lady Mu for what you did to him and Miss Qin Li."

The man laughed and said," The kid doesn't see that I saved him from having to deal with the Qin family, it was him who refused to cultivate, if he had he could have fought for Qin Li however he didn't and so I made the best choice for the family."

Before Grandpa Wu could respond a voice came from outside the room" Grandpa Wu, I will be waiting for you in the car."

The sound of the door closing followed shortly after, the man sighed and said" You best go see to his needs, be careful Grandpa Wu, these events usually spell trouble for my son."

As soon as Alex sat in the car, a voice appeared in his mind *Issuing 2 quests for the ball. Quest one: Perform a Song, Music brings you happiness. Rewards: A Cultivation Method, +20 Relationship with unknown. Quest 2: Increase Lady Mu's opinion of you drastically. Reward: 20,000 Crystal coins and a storage ring.*

Alex let out a deep sigh and thought 'I don't want to increase my relationship with Lady Mu, I guess I should really considering we are engaged, fucking business marriages. I hope Qin Li is doing okay, I wish I had learnt how to cultivate, I do still have until the end of the year to increase my cultivation enough to compete in the Royal tournament. If I win that then the Qin family will be forced to leave me and Qin Li in peace, I'm getting ahead of myself. I still don't have a cultivation method and I need to know about Blood Qi, I guess I will have to swallow my pride and ask my father.'

While Alex was deep in his own thoughts he failed to notice that Grandpa Wu had already entered the car and began driving them towards the location of the Ball, The Ruby Dragon Hotel. Grandpa Wu looked into the mirror of the limo and saw Alex deep within his own thoughts with a complicated expression on his face, he took a deep breath and said" Young master, Master has commanded me to not tell you about blood Qi and has instead requested that you speak to him instead."

To his surprise, Alex face showed a sad smile and muttered" I will speak to him after the ball, this is an important matter for me and I must know about it."

Shocked Grandpa Wu looked at Alex but seeing the determination in the young man's eyes caused a small smile to appear on the old man's wrinkled face. Arriving in the parking lot of the hotel, Grandpa Wu parked and walked over to the side of the car where Alex was sitting, opening the door he whispered to Alex" Behave yourself in here, you know that the other young masters have cultivated to some extent."

Alex laughed and whispered in response " That is what you are for Grandpa Wu, to deal with my needs, that is what father said no?"

The old man sighed which caused Alex to Laugh as the two of them walked into the hotel...
