#5 "Behind the Shadow"

Alexis returns home, shaken by what has occurred. To alleviate his emotions, he was inclined to concentrate on how to solve the problem they were currently facing.

It's simple to state that the sum of money will be distributed smoothly. But this is all bluster. 5 million dollars is a lot of money, and it's not a tongue-in-cheek comment.

If they presume that a loss of $5 million isn't a big deal for the head of an underworld organization, it's an instant gain the next time around, that wouldn't be the case given their eagerness to get it back.

Alexis then orders his subordinates to prepare to investigate and track the drug, which has been prepared and must be delivered on time and in good shape.

He'll look into it himself; he just needs everything ready for the analysis. That's how well-informed he is. It is too volatile to entrust confidential information to his lackey for fear that it will leak and eventually be hacked, resulting in the loss of all data. He didn't doubt their abilities, but he didn't trust them.

Alexis will initiate carving and seizing the man behind all of those things in a secret room with tons of paper layers on top of each other, as well as a lot of different digital devices containing data and programs that will be used.

"I overlooked things, let's see," Alexis grumbled as she scrolled through the device.

"The order begins at xx67 13:56, thus they ascertain the order should arrive at xx46 at precisely or earlier than 9:30, the pick-up should happen the day before the order has been shipped but the sequence doesn't integrate. The pick-up was postponed for at least four hours. The reason is 'The engine had trouble on the way and was resolved,' is what it says.

The displacement between the location and the geezer's mansion isn't one to concern because it wouldn't be a problem, so it should be synchronized to arrive as expected. The weather had cleared up by then, and there had been no problems. But... " Alexis was in the middle of an analysis when all of a sudden...

"Shit. We've been set up..."

Alexis stood up and dashed, he quickly dressed up and yelled "Get the car ready!" they were surprised but obeyed him right away "I'll drive it myself", he started the engine and drove to Henderson's mansion.

"If my interrogation was related to my calculation, then that should be it; I need to verify it myself. They're messing with the wrong person."

He realizes the sequence of numbers is all connected and related to the scene; it's a code devised by the perpetrator.

"Why does that fuckard (referring to the culprit) want to work the shit out of me? I'm supposed to rest and be at ease, then this happens and it stresses me out!" he yelled inside the car, punching the steering wheel.

"Oh crap! I just lost the game!" shouted back an unknown man wearing a hoodie and holding a Nintendo.

"That's a straight loss streak, you've been losing since an hour ago," said the other man.

"Shut up! I just ran out of luck..." he sighed, slumping and pouting.

'Ding!

', a notification appeared on his phone's screen.

"Heh, he finally broke the shell? As expected, I'll see you soon, my dear Alexis."

"Is he yours?" the man inquired, puzzled.

"He'll be mine," he said with a smirk.
