My head was filled with thoughts about Gereth Malfoy as I walked out of the tower.I saw Beth waiting for me near a tree.I beckoned to her and she came running towards me."Miss what happened?"she asked me curiously.I couldn't tell everything because I promised Thomson that I wouldn't disclose this matter to anyone."I just discussed about some magic spells I wanted to try Beth .Now let's go back I'm starving"I diverted the topic and we headed back to our castle.

After spending three days in the outskirts ,we returned home.Father came to receive me at the gate.I hugged him spontaneously and said nothing.He was a little confused but happy and patted my head.

The next day I got an invitation to attend the Prince's Birthday celebrations.This ball was going to be different this year cause they will be announcing Prince's engagement with me.I did not want to see the prince .I was scared as well as angry regarding our previous encounter.I guessed he would be feeling the same way.

In the novel it was during this Royal Ball Sylvian meets Valentina .At first it was a friendly encounter and they start opening up to each other soon, they start developing feelings for each other.Abbot and I arrive at the palace and greet the king."You look lovely today Amnesia"King complimented me."Thank you your majesty."I bowed to him.

I was wary and was on the look out for the prince cause I didn't want to meet him but looks like the king misunderstood my actions and told me"Lady Amnesia looks like you are waiting for someones arrival"he teased me a bit.I denied it and faked a smile ."I remember that he is in the garden right now ,why don't you visit him now?.Come back together later."Archland suggested me.I didn't want to go but it would be too rude to deny the kings order so I was left with no choice.

I found prince in the royal garden sitting near an oak tree.He looked a little melancholic .I wondered what could have happened to put him in such a mood.Suddenly the prince's gaze fell on me and our eyes met."greetings Prince Sylvian ",I hurriedly bowed ."What are you doing here?"he asked me in a sharp tone."The king had sent me here Prince "I tried to be calm and obedient cause I didn't want to anger him again.I noticed the pain in his eyes earlier when our eyes met.I thought maybe he was remembering his mother.He was very fond of his mother but after she fled from the palace prince was crestfallen and shut his emotions.I felt a strong urge to comfort him."Your father really does treasure you prince ,he was boasting about to the guest .You are a really good son."I tried to put him in a good mood.

The prince looked a little surprised at my words he replied with a heavy voice,"If i was a good son that woman wouldn't have had left me alone.""Maybe she didn't have any other choice.It takes a lot of guts to leave someone you love Prince."He looked at me and silent prevailed for a short time.He was lost in thought again.""Don't let the past experience ruin your present happiness prince,your family loves you dearly and not everyone is blessed like that."I reminded him.Being an orphan I knew the pain and longing of love I didn't want him to fret over the past I thought maybe I went a little too far and was scared ."Thank you for comforting me."The prince looked at me as he said this.I couldn't' believe my ears and stared at him blankly.He felt embarrassed and quickly rose up"I think it's time for me to greet my guests ".I chuckled at his embarrassment as I watched him walk away."Aren't you coming?"He turned back .I felt happy for some reason and we went back in together.

Archland and Abbot were engaged in a happy conversation.They looked at us coming back and smiled sweetly .Abbot heaved a sigh of relief cause he was worried about me.The king then went on to talk to the other guests. Abbot came up to me " I'm glad that you are getting along with the prince, I was worried about it earlier but seems like you are doing great "he patted on my head and went away. I felt happy too maybe I was wrong about the prince and I felt that we may get along well in the future and that's when I saw Valentina entering the Hall.
