Uninvited guests?

A few minutes after the family came into the house and changed their clothes, Thomas went to his room to relax. He put on his headphones and was listening to music. His mother decided to make dinner, father sat on the couch, turned on the tv, and massaged his swollen face. Arthur did not want to accidentally come into sight of Thomas, so he ran straight to his room and locked the door. A few minutes later they heard a loud knock on the doors.

"Are we having guests?" mother asked.

"Not that I know off" father replied. "I'm coming, stop with the knocking!"

Father got up from the couch and went straight to the door. He unlocked the door and saw Mark and Stephany Millers. He did not expect that. Did they plan to have them over before Thomas sent them to the hospital?

"Hey hey, come on in" father smiled. He decided to let them in and plan the dinner afterward. He could send Thomas to the shop to buy… Nope. Change of plans. He will send Arthur.

"Hey, George? What the hell happened to your face? Some accident at work?" Mark was surprised on seeing George with a swollen face.

Stephany pinched Mark's hand.

"It's rude Mark! Hey George, Hi Andrea" she smiled and waved to Thomas's mother.

"Yeah, no. Thomas mutated and beat the crap out of me." he was not even trying to hide it. He was irritated because of it, but there was nothing he could do about it. He remembered that Thomas have high respect for Mark and Stephany, so maybe these two could scold him a little bit. He would probably listen.

They came inside the house in silence. They both were shocked. Mutated? During adulthood? They were both excited to see him. And that he beat George, means his mutation must be strong! George is a veteran hunter, so he shouldn't be underestimated.

Andrea invited them both to the guest room for tea.

"I am sorry, I did not have anything else prepared today" Andrea was apologetic. However, both Stephany and Mark just shook their heads.

"No, no. It's fine. It's our fault for coming uninvited" Mark said.

"I heard… That Thomas had an accident…" Stephany said. Her eyes kept going around the room. She couldn't focus because she wanted to see Thomas.

"Ha, that brat. Can you imagine? He tried to kill himself. What is wrong with that kid. Sometimes I think, where did I go wrong" Andrea shook her head. She thought that both Mark and Stephany would agree with her.

What's wrong with him? What's wrong with you! They thought. How could a mother say this kind of thing about her son's suicide attempt… It's just wrong!

"What's more. After we took him out of the hospital, instead of listening to our scolding, he dared to assault us. We spent two days in the hospital because of him. George almost lost his arm!" she kept complaining. However, instead of agreeing with her, both Stephany and Mark understood why would Thomas do it. If this is how she speaks about her son in front of others, what does she do when they are alone!

"Could you maybe call him? I want to see him." Stephany kept smiling. However, in her mind, she kept cursing Andrea for being a terrible mother, not only that. She also cursed her for being mentally insane.

"Well, you know… Where his room is. Maybe you… Go to his room" Andrea did not want to deal with Thomas's current anger issues.

"Oh, I would love that!" Mark smiled. He went straight to Thomas's room. he bought Thomas the newest model of space ring. Within there were 3 cubic meters of space! And inside there was a phone, computer, and game console. Most of those gifts were supposed to be for Clara. However, due to her behavior, they decided to gift them to Thomas. Clara wasn't left without a gift. Because she became an adult, Mark still insisted on buying her a car. Despite Stephany being against it, Mark still did not change his mind. She's now an adult, and she can drive to school on her own!

"Thomas, my boy. I brought gifts." Mark shouted while knocking at Thomas's doors.
