Chapter 6 The first greeting...

On hearing, someone coming towards her Yanshu stood up closing her eyes like a statue again, a young man came near her and said,

"I know your secret and I know how to wake you up",

it was the same voice from back then, she recognized that voice of him, and panicked about what he is going to do, but he came very near to her and kissed her lips, that was a magical touch for both of them...

Yanshu was shocked and suddenly opened her eyes, that young man was shocked to see the statue alive, and was very happy,

" yes, I did it, now you will be my princess, see you are alive, I made you alive...now you are mine..."

Yanshu couldn't understand what he was talking, but she couldn't speak,

he came near to her, she saw him nearly, he was very good-looking, very attractive, making her nervous,

she looked down and he was upset,

"Are you not happy to see me? I am your prince charming, your husband, we have to get married?"

Yanshu's tolerance exploded,

" What...?"

he was again happy to hear her voice,

"your voice is beautiful too"

Yanshu never heard such kind words before, and those affectionate eyes were pulling her heart out, she smiled at his cuteness, though he was a grown man he speak like a small kid. She understood that he is not here to expose her, but his mental state is like a small kid.

"What is your name?" asked YanShu gathering all her courage,

" I am wang Yulong, and you? do you have a name?" he asked exuberantly.

YanShu thought for a while and said,

" I am Chu chu"

"Chuchu it's a good name I love it",

he sat down and asked her to sit,

" don't you feel tired? standing all the time, sit down, I am your husband from now on, and you have to obey me, ok"

she laughed,

"Husband...!!, who said that?"

he was angry and stared at her, she blinked her eyes and was confused,

"The magical book, I read that, according to that, when the prince kissed the statue of the fairy, she woke up and married him for eternity"

she smelt something different, in the pastries, a smell of herbs, and asked

"Where did you get these?"

"These are made by the second mother, she is the only one who loves me",

Yanshu was familiar with the herbs, and that smell was definitely of a slow poison. But she knows the antidote to that poison,

" I know better kinds of cookies, delicious, mouth-melting and so sweet, do you want to try them?"

she asked him so that she could give him an antidote,

" do you know how to cook?"

" hmm, ... I know but how could I go out, if my secret is out then I will turn into a statue again,"

" no... I won't let you be a rock again, wait for me here," he said and ran towards the exit,

Yanshu was wondering what he will do now, she went back and stood like a statue again just in case he brings someone else.

After a while, he came back and said

"hey did you become a statue again, do I have to kiss you again?"

Yanshu opened her eyes at once

"no, I am back,"

he brought some clothes, and said,

"put it on"

"what are these?" she asked mystifyingly,

"you are stupid, you don't use your brain, do you? "

she was startled,

"Why? what did I do?"

" These are the attire of maids, I often use this to go outside, no one recognizes me, you can use it, no one will recognize you"

She understood what he said,

"hmm...ok, but I am black, they will..."

"no one will catch you, no one is allowed here, and we will return soon, make it fast"

Yanshu took the dress and put it on her, and collected all the herbs from the garden, he held her hand and took her to the royal Kitchen,

She made some pastries and some cookies using the herbs she brought.

Yulong took one of them and bite, it was mouth-melting and so delicious, he ate many, and she stopped him,

" you can eat only two a day, I will make you more tomorrow, now hide these somewhere and remember this is our secret, you should never reveal it,"

"hmm... I won't say a word to anyone," said Yulong.

They both returned to the imperial garden and Yanshu said,

"The night is over and it will be day again, remember my magic will end if you tell anyone about me, come back at night, " and she stood back as a statue.

Yulong looked at her again and again, it was like a dream for him, he was so happy to find a friend.

Though he was a prince, the Emperor's fourth son, he never had a life like a prince, he was not allowed to attend any royal gatherings, feasts, or banquets, because he was known as a mad prince and the most unlucky prince.

His mother died soon after she delivered him, and grew up under the care of the other consorts of the Emperor. His mother was the most beloved previous Empress of the Emperor but her sudden death made the Emperor think of his son as jinxed, and because of this, the prince was kept away from the palace for a long time.

He was so intelligent as a kid but as he grew up as a man, he became dumb, the present Empress took him in her care, but he was kept separate from the others. The butler, Da Fu was the only one who cares about the little prince and he was like a mother to him. Yulong, grew up listening to his stories.

Da Fu tried to console him saying, the love he is longing for will be given to him by the fairy, who will marry him and love him for eternity.

Yulong was like a child, and he believed everything that Da Fu says. He thought that Yanshu was the fairy he was talking about.

Yaofan woke up the next morning, and read the letter Yanshu left for him startled, he was very angry about the decision she made,

Jinhai came to meet him and explained everything to him. But being a father Yaofan could not be at ease, he asked him to take him to the statue immediately. They were about to leave, but a man came running to Jinhai.

"Sir, our lord wants to meet you, please come with me",

He was one of the servants of the prime minister, Xiyang, and Jinhai could not refuse to go. so he took his leave and went to the prime minister's mansion to meet him.

He was so nervous,

" Did we get caught? I wonder how that child, Yanshu is, What my lord will do to us if he knew about her....oh God help us out"

He was so afraid that sweat from his forehead was seeping out. The moment he entered the mansion his heart was pounding and he was threatened. Xiyang was sitting inside his room, he called Jinhai, and said,

" Do you think you can fool me.... you do have some guts Jinhai..."

Jinhai's gut came to his mouth out of fear and he fell on his knees and his forhead touching the ground....

"My lord... have mercy.. please have mercy on us..."

He was crying his eyes out ... weeping and..... begging for mercy...

But did YanShu get caught, how did Xiyang found out about their secret.... actually what secret did he found out.....
