Ambush (2)
Damien went into his office and locked the door then he smirked when Simon stood up and turned to him.
"Where is she?" Simon asked anxiously as Damien went closer to him.
"Come on Dam..." Damien punched him before he could finish and held him by his collar then he banged him on the wall. Simon was already weak and blood was dripping from his mouth.
"Wh... what a...are y...you doing?" Simon asked in a very weak voice like he was about to faint. "Remember w... who I.. I a..am" He continued but Damien ignored him and gave him. a finishing punch again then Simon fell on the floor.
He fainted but Damien wanted him dead so he brought out his gun and shot Simon five times on his chest which gave Damien a little view of his heart.
Damien knew that now Simon was dead Gage will be the next president of the country. That was how their country operated but Gage wasn't a threat to him, they were actually close when they were little but after the death of his parents he became cold. He stopped talking to people, he was only warm to Iris, Alicia and Jessica.
He left his office and told Luke to clear the place before he went back home, he was already missing Alicia and since Simon was dead they could now leave Camden's place.
He knew by tommorow morning the news of Simon's death will be all over the news but they had no evidence of who did it.
When he arrived home he went in front of Jessica's room door and knocked but no one answered so he quitely opened the door and saw Jessica sleeping comfortably on her bed while Allison was sleeping on the couch, he went to Allison and put a strand of her hair behind her ear. He looked at her beautiful face, he never meant to hurt her he just needed someone to comfort him and she got caught up in his relationship with Iris. The worst part was that he didn't know if Iris still loved him because deep down he was still in love with her and nothing could change that.
Allison woke up when she felt a hard hand caressing her face she looked up to see Damien looking stunning even if the lights were off, the lights from the hallway shone in Jessica's room.
"You're not asleep?" Allison asked sitting on the couch
"I just came home from handling a business" He smirked and Allison knew he had done something bad that could expose their secret Mafia Family.
"What did you do?" Allison asked looking concerned
"Don't worry about that, Follow me" Damien said giving her his hands, she remembered what happened in the fastfood which made her hesitate to follow him but he held her hands and pulled her outside then they climbed a ladder that led them to the top of the roof.
"Wow. This is an amazing view." Allison said as they both sat down and looked at the stars.
"Allison, I want to apologize for what happened. I'm not used to apologizing but I know what I did was too much to handle, I should've told you about Iris." Damien said avoiding eye contact with her
"I don't care that you didn't tell me... well I do but it didn't matter I just want you to forget about her" Allison said rubbing his thigh but he just took her hands looked at her. Deep into her blue eyes even if she wore contact lenses.
"I can't do that Ally, Forget about me, you deserve someone better" he said parting his hands from hers.
He didn't notice when she started crying because he was now focused on the stars, she quickly wiped her tears and stood up to leave then he turned to her and grabbed her hands. then he made her sit again.
"Don't leave Ally, Even if a relationship can't work between us, we're still friends and business Partners. I can't handle the business without you." Damien said but he didn't mean the last part, he could handle anything alone he just needed Allison as a friend.
"You dated me just to break my heart. I was too stupid to notice, we never kissed.... it didn't even feel like we were ever together. But don't worry about me, I'm fine" she wiped the remaining tears that almost fell from her cheeks then Damien pulled her for a hug, it was a long hug then she laid her head on his shoulder not knowing when she feel asleep
