Coronation (1)

Ch-88

Lenora sat in front of the mirror as her both mothers were helping her in getting dressed. While her sister-in-law was helping her in painting her face with different make-up products. Everything was stifling to her but she knew she had to hold on till the coronation was done. Only then could she get out of this stupid stifling and suffocating dress.

As the maids and both of her mothers helped her in getting dressed. Lenora sat silently without moving.

Everyone was joyous about the crowning ceremony. Things were pleasant in both of their races. This crowning ceremony will be something that would bring them closer to their peace by fifty percent. There will be complete peace when Vampaira fulfills their agreement too. bo

Werewolfia was not wholly trusting Vampaira. They were trying to trust them. It has to go a long way before the two races trust each other completely.

After what felt like three long hours, they were done donning Lenora.

"Finally," she uttered under her breath pressing her lips tightly. She has the urge to lick her lips, remembering the pains that her sister-in-law took to paint Lenora held herself back from licking her lips.

Standing in front of the full mirror, she looked at her foreign look. She never looked this beautiful in her whole life. Or maybe because she was dressed up in a werewolf style.

Lenora was dressed in a long balloon skirt-type gown which is designed in the colors of gold and white. The colors white and gold resembles peace, prosperity, health, and success for the kingdom of the werewolf. The gown hugged her upper body showing off her full round bust and her perfect thin waist. Her deep V-neck gave a peak for the entrance of her chest.

A five-layered dusty yellow diamond necklace adorned her swan-like neck as it played hide and seek for the entrance of her neck.

The necklace stood out of her outfit still showing off her gown design. Her gown was hand sewn with the golden leaves of tri-petal Gandolia leaves paired with the Alivora flower which was Werewolves' mythical flower.

As she looked at herself even though she most likely dressed up the way Vampires do… the style of the Werewolf race was completely evident. Her hair was done in a crisscross bun with subtle knitting of her hair in a unique way. She did wear a crisscross bun in Vampira but hair knitting was never a part of it. Indeed, the traditions might be similar but there were things that were still different. One could see those differences when one noticed them carefully.

Lenora didn't wear any gloves her beautiful slender hands were out on display for the eyes of onlookers. Her nimble fingers were adorned with her wedding ring, werewolf's family heirloom, and her mother-in-law's ring along with Maximus's real mother's ring. When she was crowned she will be having another ring on her own.

"Lenora, let us fix this cape for you," Serene said bringing the cape.

Eudora wanted to help but was rejected by Serene. "It's Mother-in-law's thing to do, Eudora," Serene said.

Eudora could only nod her head.

"But why?" Eudora asked feeling curious despite being rejected.

"I don't know much about it. From long ago this tradition is being on," Serene said.

The cape was a meter and a half long. A golden velvet cloth is sewn in the middle of the cape leaving one foot of white-colored cloth on the other sides. The cape was attached to Lenora's dress and there were a few strings that were tied to the necklace without damaging it.

Eudora who saw this understood why she couldn't do that for Lenora. The tying of this cape was unique and a bit complicated.

After they were done completely, Lenora felt like her shoulders were carrying tons of weight.

She could feel her chest tightening to the point that she couldn't breathe properly. Her face lost color at the sudden addition of weight.

"You have to bear it till the crowning is done," Serene said as she saw her discomfort.

Lenora nodded her head. She was glad that her mother-in-law chose the lighter headpieces for her head jewelry. She could move her head agilely with it. If it was in Vampira, she would not even be able to move her head. She was grateful for her mother-in-law's thoughtfulness.

Soon, Dylan came to her room to escort her to the royal chambers where the king resided. With both mothers in tow, Lenora walked ahead of them as she carried her heavy self. When Eudora advised her to wear heels, Serene denied her and asked Lenora to wear flats. And she was grateful for it. With this heavy attire and jewelry, she might not have handled herself properly.

Maximus who was standing near the oath podium was stuck seeing his wife. He didn't know she would be this beautiful as a queen.

She looked radiant under the bright moonlight exuding from the roof. Her jewelry reflected the moonlight on her face making her look angelic. Lenora looked like a moon goddess directly descending from the moon as she walked toward him. He took his steps down and held his hand out for her to climb the stairs.

Lenora graciously took his hand and climbed the stairs along with him.

on, They both went ahead and stood on the left side of the deity aside like obedient children. On the right side, Elphaba stood in all her glory in her green-colored clothes.

Elphaba started doing the rituals as Lenora came. A rare smile etched on her face as she saw Lenora in her glory as a queen. Andrea would be proud to see her like this. Yet… she was not completely happy. There is that old bastard who was ready to sink his fangs in her.

Soon, the trumpets rang announcing it was time for them to start the rituals. She started praying for the moon goddess and the deity, who was the founder of the first werewolf in werewolf history.
