Adira Fainted

All of the closest people from the werewolves appeared in Adira's wing when they heard she fainted. Even all the Vampire elders along with the main family appeared to visit her.

Seeing everyone in the wing, worried about Adira made him feel uncomfortable. Zaros was now in a fix on how to explain things to them about her sickness. Things were getting harder as days passed. And this woman was putting him into more and more trouble wanted! She was so silly and dumb. She can't even understand or do a single thing properly. She does everything like a dumb person.

Back in the vampire kingdom, he has a fiancee, she was so thoughtful, elegant, beautiful, and smart, unlike this dumb woman. The more he looked at her the angrier he got. He wished to slap some sense in her. Was she trying to paint him like a monster by fainting?

And now… she fainted. Can't she eat properly? If she had her food on time this wouldn't have happened! Now he has to be answerable to everyone.

She needs a good lesson after this! She needs to know that she can't bring trouble to him like this!

From now on… he would make sure she would eat properly. If needed, he will have his meals with her from now on. That way he would be called an attentive and loving husband. He would even get back his good husband role too. That's the best plan.

Zaros maintained a sullen look on his face as he looked at his wife's limp body. Her pale lips, sweat-trickling face, and lifeless look made him feel more guilty as seconds passed. But at the sight of his sister, Adira didn't matter to him anymore. His sister deserves everything. Anyone who was reasonable for it directly or indirectly would be punished.

Lenora also came along with everyone to watch Adira. When she saw her brother and his indifference she got the situation. When she looked for her mother, a sneer formed on her lips. Looks like both mother and son duo didn't care about their new daughter-in-law.

The doctor checked her vitals and frowned. "My Lady, the princess hasn't been having proper food for days. And looks like she is being drained emotionally too. Princess shall have proper food on time and rest too. And mainly she has to be happy," the physician said.

Serene nodded her head understandingly. Her eyes flickered at the physician for a second. She got what he was saying.

"Looks like She is worried that she has to leave the palace. Don't worry. As her mother I will take care of her and won't let her feel sad about leaving her home," Serene said as if trying to explain it to everyone. Everyone can guess what has happened. Unlike Vampires the Werewolves have fewer healing abilities. There were a few finger marks on her neck and face as if someone grabbed her hard. When the Physician pointed her to these marks, her heart stopped. Serene felt like she was being betrayed.

Weren't they nice to her and her daughter all along?

Anger rose through her veins. If her daughter was suffering like this, then… she has their daughter too! She will show that they couldn't be taken lightly. She was happy when her daughter-in-law was becoming close to her son. And him getting out of his ex-wife's shell. But… it's better to have a depressed son than to have her daughter dead.

She may not be as cruel as them but surely she would teach them a lesson. They can't get away after messing with her daughter!

"And we have King Zaros and Lady Eudora to take care of her, right?" Serene said. Every word she said came out further sarcastically.

Zaros and Eudora nodded their heads at her seriously. Eudora was speechless now. How could she not notice her daughter-in-law? She failed as both mother and a mother-in-law. She broke the trust that Serene held in her. After years she found a good friend and a real friend. And her son successfully ruined that.

And most bugging question in Eudora's head was… why did he do this?

What did she even do to get this?

If Serene and she can say that he was abusing her, it means everyone was aware of what has happened to her. This may lead to breaking the pact. Maximus doubted this even before the marriage was held but he let it slide because it was a maid's doing. Now… this would become difficult. She sighed as she felt a headache coming her way. Her son… was always a troublemaker. But today…. He was an abuser. This was not something she or anybody could tolerate. She needs to have a good talk with her son.

"They will take care of her. After all, we have their daughter with us too. Since they are taking care of our daughter very well, we shall take care of their daughter the same way they did to my daughter. After all, we have to be fair, right Elders?" Serene said with her reddened eyes, bringing Eudora and others back into the present.

Eudora was shocked again. This wasn't something she expected. But again… she has the right to make any call. The one who was sleeping on the bed was her daughter but not hers. What if it's her daughter who was sleeping in her place Adira?

Maybe she would react this way or even in a violent way. She would have even plucked out a few werewolf hearts if it were Lenora. She may not have cared about Lenora for years, but she did in her way.

Lenora was apple of her eye. She would treat her best as she could.

"Yes," the elders chimed in Serene's question. Indeed, Adira Elisaveta was the Werewolf princess. And the most important thing in the werewolves was brotherhood. If something to were to happen to their race they would not care about the win or failure, all they care about is fighting till the end to keep up the brotherhood.
