"Why did you chase her off in the first place?" He asked, raising a brow.
"It's none of your business, Louis. You should leave."
Louis' face fell and he let out a loud sigh, "And here I thought you were willing to let bygones be bygones."
Jael snorted, "Yeah right. You don't show up after such a long time and act like nothing has changed. You don't get to ask personal questions and expect an answer from me. For old time's sake and for the sake of the woman we both once called mother, I'll let you stay in the castle but I want you gone before the third night."
"That's tomorrow night!" Louis said with a horrified look on his face.
"That's not my problem."
"It's funny," Louis said, standing to his feet. "It's been such a long time and you haven't changed one bit except your hair is longer. Wait, is that a ponytail? Huh? I thought you hated long hair."
"Are you done here?" Jael asked without blinking.
