Steven's arrival

"Mr. Director, don't you have any work in the office? I hear that there will be a meeting regarding the construction of the Presidential Building in half an hour. Mr. Director, you'd better go back to the office. Let me take care of Alesha here." Bianca said with a smile, hoping Kinsley would believe her.

Kinsley smiled sympathetically, 'Your reason is not bad.'

A reasonable excuse to keep Kinsley from accompanying Alesha. But it seemed that Bianca had not yet realized that Kinsley could tell every single thing she was thinking, even through a glance.

"Miss Bianca, I am the superior of you. It is only natural to see and care for the condition of injured subordinates before my eyes. Alesha is my responsibility. After all, there is no reason for me not to take care of her." Kinsley replied calmly.

"Mr. Director, why are you eyeing Alesha and keeping a close eye on her these days? You're not after something from her, are you? And need I remind you again, Alesha is still Brother Steven Morgwen's girlfriend!"

"Lover? Okay. I know you contacted your brother and told him everything. Feel free to do as you please. But you must also remember that your brother will never have what is not rightfully yours. Mark my words carefully, Miss Bianca Morgwen." Kinsley gave a warning.

Kinsley left the front of the infirmary feeling furious. It was still not time for Kinsley to snatch Alesha from Steven's hands, 'Wait for the right time, then everything that belongs to me must eventually return to me!'

Bianca was still waiting for her brother Steven in disarray at the front of the ward. She remembered Kinsley's words that kept nagging at her mind.

"Bie, how is Alesha?" Steven asked, who had just arrived. He ran up to Bianca with a worried look.

"Brother, what took you so long? You almost lost the chance to meet Alesha. We have something important to talk about, but not right now. It's better if we go in and see Alesha's condition first." Bianca whispered.

"What is the important thing that has you so worried?"

"Regarding this matter, the point is that earlier, when I tried to stop the Director from seeing Alesha, he said something that bothered me, something that was not his right. Your brother will never have it. For some reason, I feel that the Director is hiding many things. So I hope you'll be more careful from now on."

"I will investigate this matter as soon as possible. Let's put the matter aside for now, and I'm afraid Alesha has woken up and heard our conversation."

In the infirmary, Alesha had woken up from her scare. She smiled as she saw Bianca and Steven coming together and thought they had taken her.

"Alesha, how are you now? Didn't I tell you to take care of yourself?" Steven said, rubbing Alesha's forehead like a child. Steven and Bianca stood beside the ward and helped Alesha sit up from her sleep.

"Steve, you always treat me like a child. Look at your sister laughing at me." Alesha said with a twist of her lips.

"If you are not a child, how come you lie in the hospital? Look, Alesha, your health is everything. How about you resign from your job and then-" Steven hadn't finished speaking yet. Alesha quickly cut him off.

"No, Stev, I can't just resign. I'm sorry. You know I'm an outcast in the Fiorenz family. Although the Fiorenz Family is respected, I'm not one of them. If I quit this job, how will I survive? In addition to your family's high status, I feel even smaller in front of you." Alesha said, her face looking sad with teary eyes.

Steven just understood how Alesha had suffered all this time. He just knew how Alesha felt, making him hug Alesha without explaining what he wanted to say again.

"Honey, forgive me for not understanding your feelings. You must have gone through so much hardship, and I failed to understand that." Steven said honestly.

Such a rare moment between Alesha and Steven. Steven's busy life as an Army Officer for the past three years has left him no time to pay attention to Alesha. Therefore Steven asked Bianca to work in the same company and division, hoping that Steven could still watch and care for Alesha. But in reality, it's not that easy.
