Ahh noo no one. It's just l don't have a phone and l have to look at the clock.

Leela, what time does Dam .. hmm Mr. Reign come back home.

Miss , he comes back in the evening before dinner. Why do you ask.

No reason . Kiara had been looking at the clock all day because she was very much looking forward to Damien's return. She couldn't control the growing need to always be around him and see him. Never in her life had she felt this way towards the opposite sex. She thought he was a cold and aloof person but the way he nursed her bump yesterday and what happened today morning. She had a change of heart. He was so caring and sweet. What am l even thinking about him l shouldn't think of such things. He is way beyond my class . Am an orphan and him, he is so rich and handsome l shouldn't even have such dreams.

Leela noticed the change of expression on Kiara's face. She was happy a few moments ago but now there was a frown on her pretty face.

Damien had already left the office and headed for the lift.

Damien was dying to see Kiara after what happened today. He kept asking himself whether she had eaten or was she still thinking about her family. He didn't know why but he wanted to protect her. He didn't want to see her cry ever again. She was just too fragile and adorable. What, adorable when did he even start having such thoughts. He must be sick.

The cars drove into the night and reached the Reign Mansion.

Good night Sir . Charlie said.

Hmm. Damien replied. He couldn't wait to see her.

Charlie scoffed, his boss had been behaving so strangely even since that girl came into his life. At least he had less work to do.

The living room was silent and he didn't see the little girl he had been hoping to see all day long. Where was she . He couldn't just go into her room with the reason that he missed her. He was behaving like a teenage random human boy in love . He just had to move upstairs and continue his life.

I should let her transfer to the room upstairs that way l would get to see her more.

On the other side Damien wasn't the only one who was stressed and longed to see the other .

Kiara had seen the car pull at the driveway but she couldn't just jump and run to see him. But she really wanted to run to him and give him one of those nice hugs he gave her in the morning.

The next moment she jumped and ran outside the door but she found him climbing the stairs without looking back.

Maybe he is tired from work and wants to rest. She thought dejectedly as she turned to leave.

Kiara. The voice she had been longing to hear called her name beautifully.

Mhh no where.

Damien raised a brow . " So you are going no where".

Kiara now realized that she had been stupid to say she was going nowhere.

Ahh l was going to...to... My room. Yes to my room.

Hmm okay . Damien said moving back down the stairs. So are you still going.

Kiara was now confused what was she supposed to say now.

Come sit . Damien said.

Thank you. She said sitting down.

She sat leaving some space between them but she just wanted to sit in his embrace .

Hmm are you comfortable in your room. If not you can move in the rooms upstairs.

No am comfortable.

I still insist you move, the rooms downstairs are mainly for servants. He wanted her to move upstairs where he would be able to see her anytime without having to go to her room.

But am also a servant. You allowed me to stay in your house and work. She saw the change of emotions in his eyes. Hurt and disappointment.

They just stared at each other without saying anything. And Kiara was the first to look away.Those grey orbs were so beautiful and magnetic to look at .

Kiara you not a servant , l allowed you to stay in this house because l want to protect you from your past not to make you a servant. Anyways l have many servants already . But if you don't want it's fine you can stay downstairs. Damien said raising to his feet.

Go rest and wait for dinner. He left the living room and went straight upstairs living Kiara confused in the living room.

Did she do something. Was he upset with her. But all she said was that she was a servant. She remembered the disappointment and hurt in his grey eyes. Did he really mean it when he said he wanted to protect her from her past. What was her fault. May be she will apologize at dinner.

When time for dinner came, Kiara was called into the dinner room . She was nervous and scared about how she would face Damien after what happened today. He had offered his good will but she had rejected his offer. She would apologize and accept his offer and move upstairs she didn't want him to be mad at her.

She moved her eyes low and entered the room but she heard sounds coming from the room . How would she talk to him now when Assistant Charlie was there .

Good evening. She greeted Charlie and Damien but only Charlie replied. Was he that angry with her not to reply to her greeting.

Just call me Kiara and am fine. Damien didn't even look at her and just continued to eat his food.. He was ignoring her . She also ate her food in silence.
