CHAPTER 46

THIRD PERSON’S POV

They did nothing else but fight Shranaia this time. They couldn’t kill Shranaia because Rudina’s soul was inside her body. They need to get rid of it because otherwise worse things will happen. Daciana took action and didn’t hesitate anymore because of what she saw. She knows it’s not good if she lets her friend and even Rudina’s father, Thavon, come to their palace just to catch Rudina.

“Don’t let her escape,” said Thavon, and then he made a way to trap her daughter.

He has no other aim but to make his daughter better, which is why he must do the right thing at this moment. Rudina can’t be perverted any longer, and it’s too late for her to interfere. Ron and Ran attempted to fight, but Shranaia’s strength was overpowering.

“What are we going to do?” Ron asked Vixen.

“Just catch her no matter what,” he replied, then he again moved to catch Shranaia.

Daciana is doing her best to remove Rudina from Shranaia’s body. “Rudina!” she shouted to her friend.

Rudina stopped, then looked at Daciana, and she grinned at her. “You can’t do anything else because all this is really going to happen, Daciana,” she said, then she interrupted Daciana, and immediately her father stood between them.

“Rudina, stop what you’re doing and loosen that woman’s body,” Thavon said to his daughter, then Rudina frowned.

“Don’t you know what agony I was in when you locked me in the book? Now I know how they felt while they were there. I’m so sad, and I don’t know what to do. I know that I have no control over myself, but you didn't even teach me how to control the power that I have.”

That resentment is what gave Rudina a reason to be angry with her father and the pain she feels no one else knows but herself. The more she looked at everything, and the more blood filled the whole area, the more she lost herself, especially Shranaia.

At that time, Shranaia looked at Fergus and Faustino who couldn’t handle what was happening, and they could hardly stand where they were. Shranaia was their only opponent, but this time they were having a lot of trouble, and they didn’t know what to do, or how to control Shranaia. Shranaia’s silly grin couldn't be removed from her lips, and she knew what to do with the two to end her problem.

“Shranaia.” Shranaia stopped her attack when Daciana called her.

Shranaia frowned at her, then she held her head, and Daciana came to support her. But because Rudina was in her body, Rudina immediately dominated, then choked Daciana by the neck.

“R-Rudina…”

“Don’t call my name because I never dreamed of having a friend like you!”

“Rudina, I know you hate wolves a lot, but they are still one of your kind,” Daciana explained.

“Even though they never considered me one of them because they think of me as a monster.” When Rudina said that, Shranaia felt the weight it carried. “Even my own father was able to betray me and lock me up,” she said, and then she looked at Thavon.

“But that’s for your good, Rudina,” she explained.

“There is nothing better for me than for us all to suffer,” Shranaia murmured, startled by her smile.

“You won’t do that, Rudina,” she said, and Rudina’s grin vanished.

“You won’t be able to do anything because I will pursue you and control your body,” she said.

“You just utilize my body but not my mind or heart; perhaps you’re forgetting that I’m still here and we're in the same body?” she forcefully stated.

Shranaia is still in control of herself, even though she knows that a lot has changed in her and that she knows how to control herself. On the other hand, Akira was just smiling as she watched what was happening. Akela just sighed, and at that point, Akira suddenly showed her a potion, and she looked at her twin with a furrowed forehead.

“What is this?” she asked her sister in surprise.

“I don’t want to see you stressed just because two vaewolfves are fighting in the same body,” she said, then Akela smiled.

She knows that Akira already has a potion in her possession, but he just keeps it a secret. Akela immediately left, then she went to where the fight was, and Akira immediately followed her. Along with the Lycans, he just looked at them. When they got there, they saw that the legendary wolf and the legendary vaewolf were already fighting. The two friends who were close to each other are now enemies.

Fergus and Faustino, on the other hand, go along with the friends’ fight because they use it as an opportunity to kill Shranaia. Vixen, Ron, Ran, Rara, Gena, and especially Thavon and Daciana cannot let that matter. Fergus attacked Shranaia from behind, but Vixen immediately appeared behind her and attacked her. She immediately dodged her, and Faustino rushed in next, who was immediately attacked by Thavon.

“You can’t kill that woman’s body,” warned one of the lycans.

Fergus and Faustino looked at them, then they frowned. “Don’t say that you intend to revive that girl?” Faustino asked, annoyed.

“You are not the law, so you cannot do whatever you intend to do, Faustino,” replied one of the Lycans’ generals.

Faustino was silent, then just looked at the fight going on between the two friends. Everyone was just watching their fight, and they couldn’t deny that they were both strong. Rudina has already honed herself as a vaewolf, and Shranaia is the same. Daciana, on the other hand, is skilled as a wolf and knows what attack Rudina can do, so their fight becomes fair.

While they were fighting, Daciana was not immediately able to stop Shranaia’s attack on Faustino, who in turn surprised everyone, especially when she suddenly jumped and took out a dagger that they did not know where it came from or how she got this.

Rudina stabbed Faustino right in the heart, which caused Fergus to attack Shranaia. But Shranaia didn’t hesitate because she was able to anticipate what Fergus was going to do, and she quickly went behind him, causing him to splash hard, and she hadn’t even hit the trees when suddenly Shranaia landed in front of Fergus, and she also stabbed the dagger she was holding, causing them to be more alert.

Thavon acted quickly to catch his daughter, and at that time, Daciana and Vixen also acted quickly. When they caught Shranaia, they were no longer holding Rudina but Shranaia herself. Shranaia looked at them all as evil. She looked at Daciana, then stood up and turned to Vixen.

“Let me go,” she said seriously.

“No,” Vixen said firmly.

“I said let me go!” she shouted, and then she tried to get away, but she couldn’t get away until Thavon locked her up.

Shranaia didn’t give up and immediately changed her form, causing Daciana and Vixen to jump out. Vixen doesn’t know what to do anymore, and the sight of the red moon worried the Lycans even more because, at that point, Shranaia’s form would change even more. After all, this will give her the strength and power to do what he wants.

Shranaia quickly disappeared in front of them, causing them to look around and be especially alert to what she was going to do. Vixen didn’t expect Shranaia’s sudden attack on him, and he didn’t know how to resist her strength. Vixen tried to stop her, but she didn’t do anything other than flinch from her attack, and when Vixen crossed both of her arms so that Shranaia wouldn’t stab him, he immediately kicked her, and Shranaia jumped at what she did to Vixen.

Shranaia didn’t stop Vixen until she killed him. Daciana tried to help Vixen, but even he was not capable of the strength of a Shranaia, and her strength was different compared to when Rudina was still in her body and when Rudina was still controlling it. But Daciana felt that this was no longer her friend if not Shranaia herself. Shranaia turned her gaze to the opponents, and then she grinned.

Her appearance is far from her beauty, and she has become more of a monster than before. They had done what they could while Thavon was building the cage for Shranaia. More have died, and more will be lost by the time Shranaia can’t be stopped from what she’s doing.

“Everyone be alert because you might be next!” Rara shouted.

“You can’t just stop her because there is a good chance that she will heal her wounds quickly,” said Vixen.

They can even hear their own breath since they like to keep silent initially to hear Shranaia’s rustling. They had no choice but to wait after her onslaught to see what she would do next. Shranaia arrived out of nowhere in the shadows and proceeded to head toward Vixen. He didn’t move right away, but he was hit by Shranaia’s strike, and he closed his eyes firmly because of her rage.

When Shranaia was about to stab Vixen, suddenly someone stabbed her from behind, and her eyes widened because of what Rudina did. Shranaia’s form changed, and she returned to her true form. She weakened and lost consciousness, which was quickly caught by Vixen. Vixen looked at Rudina, and she threw the dagger she was holding.

“I know what it feels like to lose yourself. But I can’t bear to see you die just because of her. I feel that Shranaia loves you, and because she is not herself, she will not be able to recognize you easily,” she said as if this had happened to her before.

She looked at Daciana, and she smiled at him. “I know you are no longer in her body, but how did you get out?” she asked with a strange question.

“Mom’s call is the only key for me to leave Shranaia’s body,” she replied, making Thavon frown.

“How can you hear Rieka’s call while she is in prison?” he said suddenly, then Rudina sighed.

“Mother is locked up, but she manages to get out without you realizing it just to scold me,” she answered, then Thavon looked at Daciana.

“Honestly, I don’t really want to get to this point, and I just want to help Shranaia. But that doesn’t mean I don’t hate you or even you,” she said while pointing to Thavon and Daciana.

“You have no other choice because even among the Lycans you are also wanted,” said Daciana, and Rudina winced.

“I want to retaliate, and I have retaliated. What happened to Fergust and Faustino is not my fault, but Shranaia’s.”

Rara looked at Rudina, and she was staring at her with a smile. “You know you and Shranaia look a bit alike,” she said, and then Shranaia frowned.

“Don’t you know what you’re talking about?” she said, annoyed.

Rara’s smile disappeared, and she turned away from them and went to her friend. Rudina approached her father and then bowed before him. Daciana just looked at them and smiled at what she saw. The Lycans just stared at what happened, and then they sighed. They all sorted out the mess, then removed the other dead and took it to where it could rest forever.

Shranaia was carried by Vixen until he returned to their pack. The rest of the Valley Pack follows Vixen and wants to know what will become of their beloved Shranaia. Because if it wasn’t for this, they wouldn’t be able to get rid of the Mystic Pack torturing them. However, they already know how to control themselves.

“What happened to her was not serious. Her wound will heal quickly. Anyway, what I did earlier was only with sleeping poison, and I don't know how many days or weeks it will take,” explained Rudina.

“Why didn’t you show up right away?” said Daciana.

“I can’t get out of the tie that my mother made,” she replied, and then Daciana face-palmed her.

“Now that it’s all over, I’m letting you all know that what happened today you have to forget and start over. Because of what happened, I know this has been a trauma for you and even your loved ones. But as a king of vaewolfves and vampires, I am ready to help you control your powers and abilities that you have so that everything can return to balance,” explained Thavon.

Rudina just sighed and turned to Vixen, who was holding Shranaia, and remembered what happened to Farkas. She just came out so she wouldn’t remember her bad memory. Daciana looked at her, then followed her outside.

When she followed her, she saw how Rudina wiped her tears, then looked up and took a deep breath. “It’s hard to forget that one,” she said and then laughed.
