CHAPTER 45

THIRD PERSON’S POV

Faustino’s eyes widened at Shranaia’s words, and he knew that this was not just now and that this was the thing they were afraid of. They know within themselves what can happen when she loses herself. He looked around and saw what a mess was going on. Vixen immediately came to where Shranaia was, and when he got there, he knew that the vaewolf hunters were chasing Shranaia.

“You need to stop this, Shranaia.”

Shranaia looked at him, and then she grinned emotionlessly. “You can’t stop me from what I want to do.”

She immediately attacked Fustino, who in turn immediately dodged Shranaia’s attack. But because of the speed of her actions, she was suddenly behind him, and before he could get over, he felt that he was about to splash and hit the trees, and then he fell down like a piece of trash. When Shranaia did that, Vixen stopped her, but he couldn’t handle the strength she had.

Gena looked at Vixen’s condition and immediately went to him, and when Shranaia attacked Faustino again, Gena immediately blocked her. She looked at her badly and was annoyed that, no matter what she did, she was prevented from doing what she wanted to do.

“Shranaia, I know you hear me, and I know you don’t like what’s happening now. I’m begging you to calm down first. I am begging you to give them a chance to explain why they are doing this,” she said, then she looked into her eyes.

Instead of listening to what Gena had to say, Shranaia leaped on top of her and then dashed to Faustino. Gena couldn’t believe what Shranaia had done, and she didn’t know how to prevent her from carrying out her plans. While she fought Faustino's soldiers, Rara gazed at them. Fergus raced quickly to help his father, but he was unable to stop Shranaia because she leaped into him before he could block her.

With the strength of what Shranaia did to Fergus, she then grabbed Faustino’s collar, smirked at him, and punched him in the face, then punched him in the stomach, causing him to endure the pain again. He was able to retaliate against Shranaia, but in the end, it didn’t go well, and in the end, he spluttered again.

“Let’s start the game,” Shranaia said in a whisper, then she rushed several opponents one by one, and she played her game that had everyone gaping.

“What is happening is not good, Akira we need a potion for Shranaia,” said Akela to her sister.

“You know you don’t need to rush things that can be solved immediately,” Akela replied, and then she looked at her.

“We are complacent too much, Akira. We have to hurry because what is happening is not going to be good,” said Akela.

Akira didn’t pay attention to her and just sighed as if she were happy about what happened to Shranaia. Akira knows what can happen, and she knows what will happen to Shranaia and especially to Faustino and Fergus.

Vixen could do nothing else, and even the Lycans were unable to seize Shranaia. Shranaia felt delighted in her heart, in particular, as well as the power in her body. She also felt what abilities she has as a vaewolf. Rudina was uninterested in what was going on around her, and no one could stop her save her mother, who couldn't escape from where she was imprisoned.

With each Shranaia killing of the enemies, it gradually becomes more and more wild. Not everyone expected the strength that Shranaia has, especially when Rudina entered her body. Shranaia stopped for a moment, and then she looked at her surroundings, and at that point, she felt something strange in her heart.

“W-what’s going on?” she asked herself in surprise. “This is not what I want to happen. Too many lives will be lost,” Shranaia said tearfully.

“I know you also like what happened, Shranaia. Don’t you know that I’m doing this for you?” Rudina said.

“Rudina.”

Rudina turned to the person who called her, and at that moment she saw her old friend Daciana. Missing and worrying about her friend can be seen in her eyes. Daciana approached Rudina and then held her hand and brought it closer to her face.

“What happened to you? You are not like this, Rudina. I know you have anger, but I know that your mercy prevails over all living beings. You shouldn’t be doing this,” she said, then she grabbed Rudina’s cheek and wiped her tears.

“Is there a chance that they took pity on me? Is there a chance that they gave me a chance to show them what I want to do? You know what we are, Daciana, and you know our only desire is to balance everything,” she said, and Shranaia felt the pain that Rudina was feeling.

“They listen to no one but themselves, and they listen to no one but what they are told. Every word uttered by those who hate our race they follow. Why does Lycans live peacefully and are accepted by everyone? They are also hybrids like us; the only difference is that we are half-vampire and half-werewolf, and we have the same life.”

When Shranaia said that, she suddenly got a wing on her back and moved so quickly that they couldn’t easily catch her and stop her. They had already made but one attempt to catch Shranaia, and they hadn't even done what they needed to do when they suddenly sprang up. Vixen tried to chase after Shranaia, and Ron, Ran, Gena, and Rara did the same. But at her speed, they were unable to catch up and were unable to stop her.

“It’s too fast; what are we going to do?” Rara asked.

“Don’t stop. Shranaia is not the only one we are catching,” Vixen said, making Rara frown.

“What do you mean?” she questioned.

“Rudina is also in Shranaia’s body. That’s why the Lycans are here to catch Shranaia and remove Rudina from her inside her,” he explained and moved again.

***Shranaia’s past***

While Shranaia was playing with her childhood friend Rara, her mother was watching her, smiling, from where she was standing. She can’t help but imagine what could happen when she learns about her true personality and what kind of creature they are.

“You’re thinking too deeply, my love.” She turned to her husband, who was looking at her, and then he came closer.

“I was only thinking about our child,” she replied, then sighed.

Lino approached his wife and then grabbed her shoulder. “You don’t have to worry about our daughter because I know she can handle any battle; instead, you should be worried about what may happen to us if Fergus finds out you’re still alive, Samira,” he said, closing her eyes firmly.

Shranaia smiled at them, and her smile appeared to relieve her bad mood. She approached them with her arrowed apple and bow. The couple looked at it with a smile, even though Shranaia knew the sadness in her mother’s eyes. She has no idea what she is going through, but she knows something is wrong and it isn't a simple situation.

She glanced at her father, smiled at him, and hugged him. Nevertheless, Vixen came and gave his respects to Alpha and Luna. Shranaia resumed her play, and when she noticed Vixen, she couldn’t help but gaze at his handsome face. While she and Rara were playing, she couldn’t help but listen to what her parents were talking about.

“Rara, do you know about a legendary wolf?” she asked Rara.

Rara looked at her, and then she thought. “I don’t know yet, but I hear many stories about her. What I do know is that she is a friend of a Hybrid Rudina who is also legendary, and she is one of the reasons why the wolf and vampire lost their balance,” she said, then Shranaia thought.

“Wolves and Vampires?” she said.

“Yes, don’t you know about that?” Rara asked, then Shranaia shook her head. “Rudina is a princess from the kingdom of vampires, and king Thavon is one of those who have implemented an organization where they catch vaewolves who are losing their minds. But Rudina is also one of those vaewolves, which is why her own father imprisoned her and even her mother,” he said, then Shranaia nodded.

She doesn’t know what to think and she is confused by what is happening. While Vixen and Lino were talking, Vixen was only watching Shranaia, and he was not looking at anyone but Shranaia. When Lino noticed this, he just smiled and looked at his daughter, who was studying archery. He took a deep breath because he knew the time would come when they would leave her and disappear unexpectedly. They also know the consequences of their actions, especially hiding Samira from Vaewolfves Hunters.

“I don’t even know what might happen, but can I entrust you with taking care of my only princess?” he asked as Vixen turned to him.

“What do you mean?” he questioned.

“You know our situation, Vixen, and even your father and mother know who and what we are, especially Samira. I don't know what can happen at any time, especially if Fergus finds out about Samira and how she got away. Samira is still not in control of herself, and it is not like before that every time the red moon comes, she is able to lock herself up,” he explained, and Vixen just kept listening. “At this time, her presence is coming out; they can smell her and feel her strength. I can’t do anything but hide her. By the time they find out that Samira has given birth, Shranaia will also be in danger.”

At that point, they both looked at Shranaia. Her innocent face is pitiful. There are things that are not told to her, especially if it is what is better for her. After that conversation, the vaewolfves did not know that they were being watched by the vaewolfves hunters. Fergus also found out where Samira was, and at this point, they had to catch them or else kill them.

In Shranaia’s deep sleep, Samira immediately felt that there was an enemy around, which is why she ensured her daughter’s safety. Samira doesn’t know what to do first, especially in their current situation. Vixen immediately felt that something bad was going to happen, so he immediately called his two companions, Ron and Ran, to take care of Shranaia.

When they arrived at the pack, everything was chaotic, and the worst thing was that there were also black wolves who were also one of the vaewolf hunters. They immediately looked for Shranaia, then he looked around. He saw Lino fighting and Samira trying to break free from the cage made by Faustino, while Fergus was looking for Shranaia’s whereabouts. Lino looked at him, then at Samira, and said to save their child. Vixen didn’t think twice and immediately looked for Shranaia, and when he entered Shranaia’s room, she was no longer there.

He immediately changed his form into a wolf, then searched for Shranaia’s scent wherever she ran. He felt that it was in the forest and immediately ran, and Ron and Ran followed. While they were chasing whoever was chasing Shranaia, they were fighting others to reduce their obstacles. With Shranaia’s speed, they could hardly catch up with her, especially since there were already many enemy following them.

When Vixen saw Shranaia, he was about to approach her when Fergus suddenly appeared and immediately stopped him. “Don’t you know what you’re doing?” he asked.

“She’s just a child,” Vixen replied.

“Young or old, she has to die,” Fergus replied.

“That’s not the law that the king of the vampires used to enforce, Fergus you know that!”

“We don’t follow their laws, Vixen.”

She looked at where Shranaia was, and they both looked at each other before they ran toward Shranaia together. Shranaia didn’t know what she was going to do, especially since she didn’t know what was happening or why they were chasing her. She did nothing but run and cry. Even though she had a lot of scars and wounds on her leg, she didn't mind it as long as she could get away from whoever was chasing her.

Ran immediately attacked Fergus, causing him to fall, and Ron immediately rushed to prevent him from getting up. Vixen, on the other hand, sped up toward Shranaia, and when she tripped, he was immediately worried. When the monster got close to Shranaia, he immediately jumped in front of her, then Shranaia lost consciousness due to fear and exhaustion. Vixen defeated the black wolf and then picked up Shranaia.
