I breathlessly ran towards the drive way. When I opened the front door to sit in the driver seat. Someone out his hand on my shoulder. I turned to find Rafael there.
“let me drive sister. You cannot do that in this condition”. He said and I pulled away. He was right I have no energy left to dive to the hospital. I quickly took the passenger seat and spoke.
“Drive fast Rafe”. He nodded by glancing at my teary face.
When we reached the hospital. I ran towards the reception.
“where is my husband?” I screamed at the hospital nurse behind the desk.
“hazel , breath , sister” Rafael pulled me back as I tried to keep calm. But that was hopeless at this point. I could barely breath. And I could barely see straight.
“I am breathing. Where the fuck is my husband”. I screamed again. I grabbed her by her arm.
She stared at me wide eyed. She was testing my patience.
“my husband” I hissed.
