"Your boss doesn't deserve you," Clifford revealed. "Why are you telling me all this?" I narrowed my eyes at him. "Because I want you for myself. You're the woman of my dreams." Four days later…
"Are you certain you want to go in alone, miss?" The bodyguard asked to be sure as he gave me a serious look.
"I'm certain. Just wait outside and be on high alert, thank you." I instructed and he nodded.
The door was opened for me and I went inside.
I still found it hard to walk properly but I refused to show it or else Clifford wouldn't have left my side. He wasn't even aware I had come to see Beverley.
Over those four days, I had not been myself. Damion's words had constantly bothered me to a point I became restless.
"If you really want to know the real truth then unravel it yourself and trust in no one, I have full confidence in you."
What real truth was there again?
It only made me curious and I hated that feeling.
