Epilogue
Time flew by quicker than anybody thought it would. Before anyone knew it, baby Aire had finally reached her one-year birthday celebration. For the momentous occasion, Raine and Nathan busied themselves entertaining the various guests arriving at their home.
Most of them were just their families and some of their closest friends, but some were simply just a few of their trusted men and women, acting more like bodyguards and peacekeepers while also enjoying themselves. The party was held inside the Moon Clan Territory, specifically in the vast gardens of the Yue Mansion.
Raine had a wide smile on her face as she watched Nathan carry Aire in his arms, swaying her along with the lively music playing in the background. Her daughter's laughter was so crisp and distinct, and it sounded like music to her ears even if it was the same voice that kept her awake in the night for days at a time.
"Ah, I can't wait to give birth," Mia remarked as she stood beside Raine.
