Days turned into weeks, and Aru wandered around the clan every day, exploring every nook and cranny. During his quest for exploration, he made sure to link with every tree ranked 1 or higher that he could find.

His deliberate choice to link with rank 1 or higher trees was strategic. Each time he defeated a rank 1 beast, he received the reward of an additional link from the system. This way, he could establish links with as many trees as he wanted without wasting his resources.

On the other hand, linking with a lower-ranked creature than himself wouldn't yield any reward upon defeating it, thus wasting a link.

Aru's strategy of maximising his benefits led him to accumulate more than a thousand links within the main palace compound without wasting the 1251 links he had.
