Chapter 94: Forgotten Memories
The pain only lasted a few more seconds after that. Celestiel's body was hunched over, supported only by Sebastian's hands which he had used to hold her up.
"What is wrong with her?," Sebastian demanded, briefly glancing at the mage who stared down at the princess, not looking the least bit surprised.
"She is recovering her memories it seems," he replied and then added in a quiet voice, "It is odd that she hasn't till now."
"What do you mean recover her memories? Had she lost them previously?," Sebastian questioned.
Ezra replied, "If she had learned any sooner that she is a goddess, it would have left her open to be seen by the other deities. What is the saying...ignorance is bliss? However, her mother still chose to teach her all she could and then when she was done, she locked them away in her memories where she could access it when and only when she was strong enough to beat the other deities if necessary."
