Chapter 030: Sacrifice

Esther immediately approached Raymond. He gripped Raymond's shoulders tightly. "You said you were going to help me then, right? Then I need your help now."

"Yes, I understand. I will help you. So say it!" Raymond replied gently.

"Accompany me to Count Sionels' residence. I'm in need of his help," said Esther.

Raymond didn't want to ask any further. He immediately got up from his chair and wanted to leave his office. Before leaving, Esther withdrew her hand.

"Where do you want to go?" Esther asked.

"Of course, prepare a horse carriage. We have to go to the residence of Count Sionels, which is a bit far from the capital," Raymond replied.

"No need. We'll go with my teleportation magic," Esther said.

"Okay. It's up to you."

As usual, Esther used her teleportation magic to travel. Arriving at the Sionels Mansion, Raymond directed Esther to meet Count Sionels who happened to be in his room with his wife who was lying weakly on the bed.

"Why did you come here unannounced, my son-in-law?" asked Count Sionels.

"I came here to drop off an important guest for you, father," Raymond replied politely.

Esther, who had been standing behind Raymond, immediately approached Count Sionels. Count Sionels, who knew Esther as one of the concubines in the kingdom, immediately bowed half of his body.

"Why did you visit my residence, Your Highness Concubine?" asked Count Sionels.

"I want to make an offer to you," said Esther, holding back the tears that were about to come out.

"What offer?"

"Give me the 'The Heart of Eternity' diamond and I will heal your wife so that she can return to normal," said Esther bravely.

"WHAT?" cried Raymond and Count Sionels in surprise.

"Would you use that diamond to show off among the other concubines if I gave it to you? I don't think I would be able to give it to such a lowly purpose, Your Majesty. I'm sorry," replied Count Sionels.

Without further ado, Esther immediately prostrated herself in front of Count Sionels while letting out the tears she had been holding back for a long time.

"Please give me the diamond, Count. I need it to heal my son who was unconscious and sentenced to lose his life. I can't just lose him. I love him so much. your wife. You also feel sad when you see your wife lying weakly in her bed, right?"

Esther didn't care about her pride anymore as long as she could save Arthur, so she was willing to sacrifice anything. Count Sionels was stunned for a moment to see a concubine who was prostrating in front of him, then he helped Esther get up.

"For that, can you give me a dagger?" Esther asked.

Count Sionels immediately ordered a servant to retrieve the dagger as Esther wished. Esther walked over to Countess Sionels who was lying on her bed.

Countess Sionels tried to sit up on her bed and she succeeded. How happy she was because usually she could only lie on her bed. Having sat down on her bed, Countess Sionels tried to stand up.

She can walk now. Countess Sionels immediately hugged Esther while crying. "I am truly grateful to you, Your Majesty. It is thanks to you that I am able to sit, stand and walk as usual. Esther tried to hold back Countess Sionels' bursting tears. After Countess Sionels had calmed down, Esther let go of the hug. As promised, Count Sionels gave Esther the diamond 'The Heart of Eternity'. He also thanked Esther for Count Sionels the diamond was nothing compared to his beloved wife.

After getting the diamond, Esther immediately returned to Arthur's room with Raymond with her teleportation power. Arriving at Arthur's room, Esther was greeted by Anne and Helena.

"Have you got the diamond, Princess?" Helena asked.

"All right. Now can you get me a dagger, Helena?"

"Well." Helena went towards the kitchen to get the dagger as Esther wanted.

"Princess, are you okay? Your face is very pale now. How about you rest first, tomorrow you will heal Prince Arthur," asked Anne.

"I can't. There won't be time," Esther replied.

Helena also comes with her dagger. Esther immediately took the dagger and stabbed her hand so that the blood that was pouring directly fell onto the diamond 'The Heart of Eternity'.

The diamond instantly glowed as if the magic reaction was starting to work. Esther began to try to open the mouth of Arthur who was unconscious so that the blood that came out of her hand could be easily swallowed by Arthur. Unfortunately, Arthur's mouth couldn't be opened at all.

Of course Esther wasn't out of her mind. Now there was only one way she had to do it. Esther bit her tongue until it bled and then pressed her lips to Arthur's. She tried to make Arthur drink the blood from her tongue. As a result, all his efforts were successful.

Moments later Esther could see that the beautiful colored diamond had turned a dark black color. As soon as the diamond changed color, Arthur realized. Esther immediately hugged Arthur who was still lying happily. He shed tears of joy. Finally the son came to his senses.

"Mother, why are you crying?"

"I... I can't believe you're finally awake. For almost a week I've been sitting here in fear that you'll never come back," said a trembling Esther.

"Thank you for waiting for me, mom."
