The Twin Alphas' Muted Luna

What happens when a human is paired with not just one werewolf mate, but two? Eleanore’s parents died when she was young. Since then, she wanted things in order. Sure, she couldn’t speak, but she went along with her life just fine. She worked, she studied and she had her friends; no confusion, no mess. Then, in a whirlwind, the two hottest men she’s ever met entered her life. How was a girl to choose? * “You two have to be very careful so that you don’t confuse and scare her away”, so were the Alpha twins warned when they found out their mate was a human. Would she run away from the werewolf twins and leave them mateless forever? * In a world where werewolves, mages, and humans coexist, there are threats around every corner. The Alpha twins must fight to end the terror. The only question is: Will they be able to navigate sharing a human mate and fight the darkness at the same time? The Twin Alphas' Muted Luna is created by Tina Freemoon, an eGlobal Creative Publishing signed author.

Chapter 63: Heated Moments

Eleonore’s POV

“So, he just up and left?”

I nodded my head at Sabrina’s question.

It was the following day after Rhett had up and left my house without a warning or excuse, and the girls had opted to have a group call instead of going outside in the rainy weather to catch up.

“That’s so suspicious… isn’t it?” Amanda asked. “I mean, who just ups and leaves right in the middle of a make-out session.” I shrugged my shoulders, adjusting my camera so the girls could see me better in the video call.

‘Should I be worried? I mean, maybe he got sick?’ I asked, thinking back to how warm his skin had felt before he left. It wasn’t unnatural for him to feel warm, given what he was, but… why did it feel like he was straight burning up?

I was about to speak and say something before another caller ID popped up on my screen. It was Rhett. I told the girls I’d call them back and that Rhett was on the other line before listening to their goodbyes and switching over.
