The Twin Alphas' Muted Luna

What happens when a human is paired with not just one werewolf mate, but two? Eleanore’s parents died when she was young. Since then, she wanted things in order. Sure, she couldn’t speak, but she went along with her life just fine. She worked, she studied and she had her friends; no confusion, no mess. Then, in a whirlwind, the two hottest men she’s ever met entered her life. How was a girl to choose? * “You two have to be very careful so that you don’t confuse and scare her away”, so were the Alpha twins warned when they found out their mate was a human. Would she run away from the werewolf twins and leave them mateless forever? * In a world where werewolves, mages, and humans coexist, there are threats around every corner. The Alpha twins must fight to end the terror. The only question is: Will they be able to navigate sharing a human mate and fight the darkness at the same time? Chapter 36 : An Understanding

Rhett's POV

I made my way from my car to the front of the library building, insisting to myself that Eleanore must have come to work by now. I was shocked however when I saw that her usual place was empty of her presence and filled by none other than Robert.

"Hey," I called out to him to get his attention and watched as Robert turned from the stack of books he was currently inspecting to pay attention to me. "Is Eleanore in?"

"Oh, Rhett hey," he greeted me back in turn. "She didn't tell you? Eleanore took the week off and called in sick. So now I'm going to be stuck with a library full of students on the brink of final's season alone."

I nodded my head as I listened to Robert speak.

But a part of me had a feeling that Eleanore didn't just call in and took the week off of work because she was feeling a bit sick. Hell, I doubted she was even sick at all. I sighed and thanked Robert for the information before I turned and left the building.
