He woke up with a start and checked the time by his bedpost. It was still very early but he was certain he is not going to be able to fall asleep again. He ran his fingers through hair and rubbed his arching forehead. 

How much longer can he bear this torture? How many years is it now that he had left home. Maybe six or seven. Who knows? He had left the hellish place eons ago. 

A teenage boy like him, delicate ignorant. He was exposed to so many realities. He was made to face his fears. But can he really do that?.
