Laura heaved a deep sigh of relief internally as the dinner came to an end without any casualties. At least they all handled themselves maturely.

"Aunt, I will be taking my leave now" Jordan stood up and said. He gave a stiff smile that seems as though he didn't in the first place.

Laura could only nod. After all she understood him quite all right. At first glance, one could tell he had actually always felt something for Rhea but what could she do when her daughter choose someone else.

"Big bro, I thought we would be having some rounds of games tonight but it seems you are in a hurry"

Daniel pouted. He put on a disappointed font hoping to make Jordan change his mind.

"I am sorry but something came up" Jordan answered.

Daniel opened his mouth to urge him further but his mother beat him to it.

"It's okay dear, go attend to your matters, you can always play your games later" She said with a soft smile.
