"I have hidden well enough. I am leaving" she uttered in a clear and determined voice. 

His mind emptied, her words were but a heavy blow to his heart shattering all of his fantasies. 

Can he take back his words of letting go?

He suddenly did not want to let go anymore. He thought he could get over her but the times she had spent close to him only made him think more of her. 

He wanted to believe that he was better off as her friend. He wanted to hold on to the peace he felt by letting go but he could not stop his heart from ripping apart. 

He took a deep breath and swallowed his devastation. He knew it was just the only thing he could do for her, to let go. 

"When?" He asked with pain in his heart. 

"Soon. It could be tomorrow or anytime from now" Rhea answered sincerely. 

Tomorrow or anytime from now? All of his hope shattered. What could he do? He had no right to hold her back.
