Chapter two

In this chapter i will be sharing some articles that Abo Aondofa Ephraim have published that make me believe how brilliant and hardworking this teacher is in real life. The true is that i have been his student for a long time now and also a great fan of his because i followed all his social media pages, like LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and many more like TikTok. I am following all his tutorials and realized that he is loved by most of his students globally. I said globally because i could see learners from different backgrounds across the world responding and interacting with him online. Sometimes he shared interesting articles that encouraged us to live a positive life, in fact most of his articles are inspiring. Below you can see a question about e-learning that a learner asked, and you could read from the answer he provided that we all learnt from.

"What are some tips for transitioning into E-Learning?"

"Transitioning into e-learning can be a new and exciting experience! Here are some tips to help you make the most of it:

1. Establish a routine: Set a schedule for your e-learning activities, just like you would for in-person classes. Having a routine helps create structure and keeps you on track.

2. Create a dedicated study space: Designate a quiet and comfortable area for studying. Having a dedicated space helps minimize distractions and allows you to focus on your e-learning tasks.

3. Stay organized: Keep track of your assignments, deadlines, and class materials. Use digital tools like calendars, task managers, and online folders to stay organized and ensure you don't miss anything important.

4. Communicate with your instructors: Reach out to your instructors if you have any questions or need clarification. Utilize email, discussion boards, or virtual office hours to stay connected and engaged with your teachers.

5. Actively participate: Engage in class discussions, ask questions, and contribute to group projects. Active participation helps you stay connected with your classmates and enhances your learning experience.

6. Manage your time effectively: Break down your tasks into smaller, manageable chunks. Prioritize your assignments and set realistic goals to avoid procrastination and stay on top of your workload.

7. Take breaks and practice self-care: Remember to take regular breaks to rest and recharge. Engage in activities that help you relax and reduce stress, such as exercising, meditating, or pursuing hobbies.

8. Seek support when needed: If you're facing challenges or struggling with certain concepts, don't hesitate to seek help. Reach out to your classmates, instructors, or online resources for additional support and guidance.

Remember, e-learning can be a different experience, but with the right mindset and strategies, you can thrive and make the most of your educational journey."

This kind of articles from him help a lot of people not only those who actually asked these questions but when he responds, many people benefit. Those of you who followed his social media pages should know about it.

I also came across his article on LinkedIn where he wrote about the educational challenges in Nigeria and you can read it here.

"I am writing to give you an overview of the challenges of education in Nigeria. Education in Nigeria faces several obstacles that hinder its progress and development. Here are some key challenges that i would like to share:

1. Access to Education: Many children in Nigeria still lack access to quality education due to factors such as poverty, inadequate infrastructure, and a high number of out-of-school children. This hampers their ability to acquire essential knowledge and skills for their future.

2. Quality of Education: While access is a significant issue, the quality of education in Nigeria also needs improvement. Insufficient teacher training, outdated curricula, and inadequate learning materials contribute to a lack of quality education. This affects the overall learning outcomes and limits students' potential.

3. Funding and Resource Allocation: Education in Nigeria suffers from insufficient funding and unequal resource allocation. Many schools lack basic facilities like classrooms, libraries, and laboratories. Limited funds also affect teacher salaries, professional development opportunities, and the availability of instructional materials. This results to the people investing in private schools rather than government.

4. Teacher Shortage: Nigeria faces a shortage of qualified and trained teachers, especially in rural areas. This shortage affects the student-teacher ratio and compromises the quality of education. It is crucial to invest in teacher recruitment, training, and retention to address this challenge.

5. Gender Disparity: Gender disparity in education remains a significant challenge in Nigeria. Girls, in particular, face barriers such as cultural norms, early marriage, and limited access to schools. Promoting gender equality in education is essential to ensure equal opportunities for all children.

6. Security Concerns: In some regions of Nigeria, security challenges, such as the threat of terrorism and conflicts, disrupt educational activities. This not only affects access to education but also creates a hostile learning environment, making it difficult for students and teachers to focus on their studies.

7. Technological Divide: The digital divide in Nigeria creates disparities in access to technology and digital literacy. Many schools lack computers, internet connectivity, and other digital resources, limiting students' exposure to technological advancements and digital learning opportunities.

Addressing these challenges requires a multi-faceted approach involving government intervention, community engagement, and collaboration with international partners. Efforts should focus on improving infrastructure, increasing funding, enhancing teacher training, revising curricula, promoting gender equality, and bridging the technological divide.

By addressing these challenges, Nigeria can create a more inclusive and equitable education system that empowers its youth and contributes to the overall development of the country. 🌍"

I think most of his articles are based on learning, possibly because he is a teacher. Most of his posts are mostly about education and learning.

I promise myself to try to know more about Mr. Ephraim's daily life so i am following up with his biography and making sure that i covers important topics in his life and i will continue to update it as soon as i found out new information as i continue to learn from him.

One day i saw his Facebook Page and this was posted on it "Hey y'all! One of the best pieces of advice I can give you right now is to embrace diversity and learn from one another. Our world is filled with different cultures, perspectives, and experiences. Take the time to listen and understand each other. Celebrate the things that make us unique and find common ground. Together, we can create a more inclusive and harmonious world.

.

Remember, diversity is a beautiful thing, and it's important to foster an environment of respect and acceptance. Let me know if there's anything else I can help you with!"

I read it and after that i made a comment and he responded to my comment just as many other comments that i saw. I was so happy to see his response and since then i promised not to miss his posts. And i want his photo to appear on this book. There is more about Mr. Ephraim that you have not seen or heard before but don't worry, just make sure that you don't miss the next chapter.!
