The Hunt For Skills Begins

"I'll go after them in nine days." Chimon said as he went over to Zegion and asked to follow him.

The two then went on to fight for three days and when Jayvyn was done meditating, he was forced to join.

"You two aren't very compatible with each other, so get better." said Chimon as he kept dodging their attacks.

Jayvyn began getting angry, so he swung with all his strength but got punched in the face, launching him hundreds of meters away.

"Don't use your anger like that. Even though it's good to put emotions into your attacks, it'll be a hindrance in battle if you can't control it." lectured Chimon as he used magicules to amplify his voice.

"Yes... sir!" said Jayvyn with his voice straining from how hard Chimon punched him.

"Good, now get back here so you and Zegion can have better chemistry with each other."

-Day 6-

On day six, Chimon gave them time to mentally rest and remembering the fire spirit he consumed from that hero, he summoned Ifrit.

With Ifrit feeling the suppressed aura of Jayvyn, Zegion, and Chimon he knelt down and said "Why have you summoned me?"

Arms crossed, looking down, and releasing a little more of his aura he says "I have decided to give you a name."

Slighty getting up from his kneeling position, he says "Are you serious?!"

"Watch your tone..." said Zegion as he used [Demon Lord's Haki] on Ifrit.

"Agh..." groaned Ifrit as his whole body went limp, falling on the ground.

"Stop, Zegion."

"Yes, Lord Chimon."

Thinking of a name for Ifrit, Chimon then says "Your name shall be Charrys."

After saying that, Ifrit began glowing yellow and began transforming into a different being.

With Charrys' evolution complete, Chimon then said "Congratulations on your evolution to a fire lord, Charrys."

"I thank you for the name." said Charrys as he prostrated himself.

"Now, get ready to fight with Jayvyn and Zegion." said Chimon as he used [Dragon spirit Haki], making everyone fall on the ground.

...

"It seems like you still haven't gotten stronger, Charrys."

"On the other hand, Zegion seems to have gotten more experience since he's been challenging me nonstop."

"That doesn't matter now because we'll be going back." said Chimon as he held onto Zegion and Jayvyn's shoulder while Charrys was touching Jayvyn.

Teleporting to the Cardinal world, everyone who had a connection with Chimon jolted because it felt like their soul had been completed.

Surveying his surroundings with [Universal sense] he found that they were in the alleyway of Ingrassia.

"Go inside my shadow." said Chimon as he had his hands in his coats pockets, walking out of the alleyway.

With the sunlight blaring his eyes, and making it seem like he hadn't seen the sun in a long time, he blocked his eyes with his arm.

Looking back on the busy road, there were a lot of mercenaries and adventurers walking about.

But they weren't really that important since there were only C and B ranks in groups.

'Where are Granbell's and Maria's current location, Raphael?' asked Chimon as he began walking through the crowded road.

<{They are currently residing in the Kingdom of Siltrosso which is southwest of Ingrassia}>

'It seems like we're going to be on a trip to get what is mine through inheritance from Veldenava.' thought Chimon as he vanished from his spot.

Everyone at Abyss who had a connection with Chimon began searching the entire town, and just when they were about to leave, Rimuru stopped them.

"I've been telling you all in these past 15 days that even if he were gone, he would be fine."

"So stop trying to search for him since if he wanted to come here, he would have teleported to Abyss." said Rimuru.

Diablo and Kami were about to retaliate saying that they were qualified to find him, but had all of a sudden stopped.

'If I were to go to try and find Lord Chimon, then it would be me saying that I don't trust his strength.' thought Diablo as he had a look of dissatisfaction.

'That stupid little gender bent slime is right, even if I don't want to listen to him. Velkaizer can obviously defend himself.' thought Kami as she had her arms crossed, getting angrier by the second.

Feeling her anger just by being near her, Rimuru says "Look... Once this is all over we can go find him. How does that sound to you all?"

And by the reactions of everyone present, he got that they were extremely happy with that decision he made.

'Where are you anyway, Chimon?' desperately asked Rimuru to himself, getting an answer out of Sophia.

<{He is currently far away}>

'Gee, thanks for that piece of information I already knew.' sarcastically said Rimuru as he heard Sophia say something.

<{Fine, be like that}>

'Did you say something, Sophia?' Rimuru asked, wanting to know if he had heard Sophia's voice.

<{That was just your imagination}>

'Alright.' thought Rimuru as he was a little suspicious about what she had said.

"Today has been a pretty lax day... well, except when we all felt Chimon's connection."

"So I just have to hurry and defeat the kingdom of Farmus and when I'm done, I have to find Chimon." Rimuru said as he slouched over.

'Well, I just actually hope that he's doing well and isn't trying to kill himself... which would be impossible.'

<{It would not be impossible since there are still beings who can injure or kill him if he's reckless}>

"Wait... There are beings that can injure or kill Chimon?!" Rimuru asked with his voice getting loud, so as to stop that he put his hand over his mouth.

<{Affirmative}>

'This is a fantasy world so I should've expected there to be other beings that are stronger than what I've seen.' thought Rimuru as he began walking inside the capital building.

'Why do humans give newborn children names when they haven't done something; or when they aren't yet powerful enough for a name?' questioned Chimon as he was heading southwest.

'Why do I have a name you ask? Because I gave myself a name, and I have the strength to back up my name.'

'But why do I get to decide their names even though a lot of them are weak? It's because they have potential, and their personalities are... unique, to say the least.'

'Take Rimuru for example. He was already at the hazard class threat, but that was only his magicule capability.'

'It wasn't taking in his battle experience, skills, and intelligence.'

'He could have been weaker than what it implied, which is not very likely. Or he could have been stronger than how he was ranked.'

'There are a lot of monsters that fall in the same category as him, but they just don't have the intelligence.'

Getting out of the forest and seeing a well defended kingdom he says "It seems we've made it."

Stopping just outside where they can't see him, he tells the three to get out of his shadow.

"Let's see... What do I want to use for this invasion?" questioned Chimon to himself as he began using his Chaos magic.

Finding a suitable one, he says "I'll use [Chaos inducement] on them."

And when he said that, a bunch of A rank monsters began attacking the kingdom.

Wanting to further the damage of this, he increased the skill.

Demons from the black and yellow lineage came out attacking.

"I guess this is our que to go inside." said Chimon as he began walking towards the entrance.

Entering the kingdom, he saw a bunch of dead bodies on the floor and blood everywhere.

"Zegion will search for Granbell Rosso and Mariabell Rosso. So when you find them, come and find me." said Chimon as he saw a two adults and a child running towards him, asking for help.

"Yes!' Zegion said as he dissapeared.

And when they were close enough, he brought out his hand, and crushed their heads into little pieces.

'I want this to be a hunt for those two bearers.' Chimon thought as he crossed his arms with an emotionless face.

'And to do that, I'll have to temporarily stop using [Universal sense].'

Slowly walking through the city, seeing fire, destroyed buildings, and bodies on the floor a knight attacked him from the back.

"Ahhhhh!" yelled the knight as he swung his sword, about to make contact with Chimon.

Grabbing his neck, the knight says with a strained voice "Why are you doing this!"

Looking directly in the knights eyes he says "To fulfill my purpose."

"Wha-!" said the knight as his vocal cords were no longer active.

Dropping the body and looking at his lifeless eyes, he felt nothing.

...

"What is happening out there!" yelled Granbell as he heard people yelling outside his estate.

"It seems we're being invaded." Mariabell said as she was looking out the window.

"How many are there?" asked Granbell to the commanding knight.

"It seems there are only four, sir!" the commander said as he looked at the devastation of the city done by only four people.

"Only four!" yelled Granbell as he thought of something.

"Should I summon him?" contemplated Granbell as asked himself.

"You should, considering how strong they are. Along with how fast they're destroying the city." said Mariabell, looking at Granbell.

"Then I'll go get Razul, and when I do, it seems I have to confront these invaders."

With Zegion appearing in front of Chimon, he says while bowing "I have found them."

"Bring me to them."

With Zegion leading and Chimon following, they made their way to the estate.

"We're here, my Lord." said Zegion as he pointed at the mansion.

Punching the iron gate open, and looking around the garden he began walking to the large door.

And when Chimon was about to open it, the door was blasted open. Making it's way to Chimon's face, Zegion blocked it with his hand.

"Who dares attack the Lord?" questioned Zegion as he saw another Insectoid.

"You're weaker than the Lord, but choose to challenge him?" he again questioned the Insectoid as he started walking towards it.

"But you do not have the power and recognition to even see his face, so I have to eliminate you." said Zegion as he blitzed towards the Insectoid.

With Razul being in the disaster class and Zegion being a pseudo peak catastrophe, Zegion launched Razul in the air.

Jumping up and kicking him back down to the ground, Zegion teleported on top of Razul and jabbed his stomach, making an indent where he was.

"Even though we are of the same race, it seems your physical capabilities lack in comparison to mine."

"Now enough with me talking, and more with your destruction." said Zegion he as he stomped on Razul's head.

Looking at Zegion decimating the Insectoid, Chimon smiled and went inside the mansion.

And when he stepped inside, a beam of light attacked him, aiming for his head.

"Oh? It seems I've found you two." said Chimon as he looked at the old man and little girl.

'They're the angel and sin bearer, right?' Chimon said to Raphael, trying to confirm his suspicion.

<{Affirmative. The one named Granbell Rosso, who is the old man, has one of the the Virtue series. The one named Mariabell Rosso, who is the girl, has one of the Sins series}>

"You!" yelled Granbell, pointing at Chimon.

"You have the egg of a hero, and have a contract with a light spirit... Yet you're attacking me! Another hero?!" again, yelled Granbell.

"Now that you know I'm a candidate of being a hero, this should be easier." said Chimon, knowing full well he was lying.

"Now, just die so I can get the Virtue skill." Chimon said as he pointed at Granbell.

Surprised that Chimon knew he had a skill of the Virtue series, he says "How do you know that?"

"It was because my spirit told me your betrayal of humanity."

"That's impossible! I would die to protect humanity!" yelled Granbell as he began losing his cool.

"You're losing your cool, Granbell. Are you sure you're not going betray humanity and lose the title of hero?" asked Chimon.

"I'll...!" said Granbell, taking a deep breath.

"I'll say it again. I'd never betray humanity. And you will never get the Virtue skill!"

Giving him a little chuckle, he says "Then it looks like I'll have to force it out of you, which means I have to kill you."

"I'll also have to kill your granddaughter since it seems she has something I want."

"I won't let you do that! You abomination of a hero candidate!" yelled Granbell as he used [Unyielding one] on Chimon.
