The Timid Young Master and Cold Assassin 3

[System 101: Master, you're doing well so far. At this rate, your mission might be easier than I thought.]

[Li Zhang: Thanks for the compliment. But why do I feel like you're hiding something from me?]

[The system was immediately covered in a cold sweat: How could that be? Maybe it's because you haven't received all the information yet.]

Li Zhang sighed while shaking his head. The system is a complete enigma at times, but he knows that if he doesn't receive more information about the mission he will just fail.

[Li Zhang looks at the system101 meaningfully: ``Yes, maybe…]

After a long drive, they finally arrived. "Young master, we are here."

Li Zhang rubs the sleep from his eyes and looks outside the window. His expression suddenly became horrified. "Butler Zhu, This… this is… Isn't this the school Li Yujin attends? May… maybe we made a mistake…yes, it-it should be a mistake." As he spoke, he couldn't help rubbing his hands together.

The butler looked at the school building and then at his young master: "Young master, we didn't make a mistake. The master has arranged for you to attend Scholar Academy so the older young master could look after you. Here's the schedule for your classes."

When Li Zhang heard this, his face became deadly pale. He reached out and took the schedule, tightly grabbing his backpack before getting out of the car. When he reached the school gate, he looked back at the butler as if he didn't want to enter.

Butler Zhu was also patient. He waited until the young master entered the gate before leaving.

Scholar Academy is one of the top high schools in S city. They have a good learning environment, top teachers, and excellent students. Most of all, the majority of their students are from rich backgrounds, therefore they are arrogant. Not only that, but their professors are also extremely strict and their curriculum can be described as strict and difficult. However, despite that, there were still people who managed to achieve such grades; some are even top students. This academy is known for making the best student out of any student in the city, including its faculty members.

Because the students are from rich and powerful families, apart from academic affairs, the teacher gets into trouble when they try to get involved with the student's personal affairs.

"There's a transfer student in our class." Said student A

"Who would transfer in 12th grade?" Student B asked

"I'm not sure. All I know is that he's very handsome. I saw him in the principal's office." Student C replied

"I also saw him. He looks very shy." Student A said.

"Yeah. I bet he's cute." Student D said while laughing softly.  

Students C and D looked at each other with mischievous smiles on their faces and they both started whispering to each other.

 Just being cute is not enough to survive in Scholar Academy.  In fact, being handsome has nothing to do with it.

Some of the students in grade 12 room 169 were curious about the newcomer and couldn't help discussing it.

Li Zhang was currently standing at the entrance of his assigned classroom; he has been nervously fidgeting ever since arriving there. His classmates are already sitting by the desks.

The teacher cleared his throat to ease the noise: "Okay, quiet down, everybody. A transfer student will be joining our class today. Come and introduce yourself."

Li Zhang who had been standing nervously at the door was even more nervous when the teacher called him in. He tightly grabs his backpack and walks into the class while telling himself not to mess up. 

Everyone stopped talking when they saw their new classmate. There's a big difference between this person and the usual students. He has long black hair and he is wearing black attire.

A girl suddenly whispers to her friend: "Is he really handsome? He seems so… shy."

"Hello, everyone. My name is Li Zhang, it's nice meeting you all."

Strangely, no one answered and everyone turned their heads towards him and they all started looking at him curiously, however, they didn't say anything.

This made Li Zhang feel awkward, he didn't know what to do.

"Ok, ok. Li Zhang, you should find a seat and sit first. Students make sure to make your classmate feel welcome." The teacher quickly tried to save the situation, although most of those rich kids won't listen, he still tried his best for the record. 

Li Zhang looked around the room and found only one empty seat. But when he went there to sit, everyone was looking at him with interest as if to watch the fun.

Li Zhang noticed something was up, but he couldn't figure out what was wrong. 

The desk in the classroom has seats for only two people, which is why everyone was seated two, two. So the only problem could be his deskmate. 

But that deskmate had his head down and didn't even pay attention to him. "Umm, excuse me, can I sit next to you?" He asks gently

When Liu Cheng turned back to see who was speaking, he saw a delicate young boy with a bashful smile on his face standing there.

"Will you leave if I say no?"

Li Zhang was speechless by the question: "Th-this is the only empty seat, so…"

Liu Cheng only looks at him with disgust before turning his head. 

[System 101: Congratulations to the master for finding the target. The target current favorable level of the host is -5.]

[Li Zhang was puzzled: Negative five? There goes my first impression. System, give me the target information.]

A familiar transparent screen appears in front of him.

It is said that he ranks 1st, but that's been years, and the other family members are fighting for this position. Most of the powerful families in S city have to curry favor with them at times to stay in position. The Liu family runs the underworld, they are not only famous in this country, but they also have powers in other countries. Liu Cheng is the only male child of Liu Jianli. Even though his father loved him, Liu Cheng was trained as a professional assassin from an early age.

Li Zhang felt a sudden sense of foreboding arise as he read the information. Since Liu Cheng is a born assassin, doesn't that mean he's a cold-blooded killer? How is he supposed to deal with that kind of person?
