SHORT ON OXYGEN

Last night was torturous for me as those most painful four days of every month were started. Fortunately, Nora came to my help somehow only because of her I got little sleep last night. I was still experiencing the pain keeping me on the edge.
The first thing that I did in the morning was washing my last night's clothes which were stained red. I didn't wanted to bother Nora with it as it would have put me in a very uncomfortable position. After finishing my daily business and getting ready I left the room.
"good morning Nora." I greeted loudly, while sauntering into the kitchen and hugged her with a wide smile. She was preparing the breakfast and looked startled from my attack.
I smile broadly and gushed. "you are such an angel Nora. Thank you... thank you for last night. You were a life-saver."
"good morning to you too, sweety. And I don't know what you are talking about"
I pulled away from her in confusion.
