Race Selection Dilemma

Cornered by Stalin's attack, Joseph had no choice but to escape. Even though his goal was to destroy the devil statue, he couldn't risk his life any longer in that place.

"I'll admit you're powerful, Stalin, but this isn't the end," Joseph said, giving a typical villainous line before stepping back to make his retreat. However, Stalin wasn't going to let him escape so easily.

"You won't get away today, Joseph," Stalin warned. He summoned another spear from his inventory, and this time it had a strange, cold aura surrounding it.

As the spear approached him at a threatening speed, Joseph fired a fireball with one hand and summoned a void circle with the other. The fireball hit the spear, creating a fog due to the cold energy surrounding it on impact.

But the fireball wasn't enough to deflect the spear. So, Joseph used his other hand to swallow the spear once again, and with relief, he succeeded. However, he knew it wasn't the time to relax just yet.

Taking advantage of Joseph's divided attention, Stalin approached him silently and thrust another spear in his direction. Time seemed to slow down as the spear was about to reach Joseph's eyes, potentially killing him instantly.

However, luck was on Joseph's side. Just as the spear was about to reach him, a system notification appeared.

—————

[You have completed the "Trial of the Grimwood Forest"]

[You have been rewarded with] – Access to the Dimensional Tower, 100 Stone Credits, and Basic level equipment.

[The rewards will be allocated to the inventory]

As the notification appeared, Stalin's spear vanished into thin air. Both Stalin and Joseph started to disappear slowly.

"You are lucky, Joseph. I will take this revenge another day," Stalin said.

Meanwhile, Kuber, who was still standing on Alvin's support, looked at his arms as they began to disappear as well.

"Alvin, what kind of crazy things are happening today?" Kuber wondered aloud.

"I have no idea, Young master. This world was crazy before, and it's crazy even now," Alvin said, equally perplexed by the sudden turn of events. Everyone who had been fighting fiercely just moments ago was now trying to comprehend the current situation.

"Yes, you're right, Alvin. This world will always be unpredictable. Let's wait and see what happens," Kuber replied, looking at Alvin with concern.

"Young master," Alvin called out suddenly.

"Yes, what's wrong, Alvin?"

"It's nothing. Just please take care of yourself in case we get separated."

Kuber met Alvin's gaze with emotionless eyes and replied, "Yes, I'll take care of myself, Alvin."

With their exchange of words, both Alvin and Kuber disappeared into thin air. In a matter of seconds, Kuber felt like he had teleported to another dimension.

'What... What is this place?'

In a dark space where no light or sensation could be perceived, Kuber found himself in a spiritual form, with his materialistic body nowhere to be seen.

'I can't sense or see anything. What should I do?'

Kuber attempted to look around, hoping to find something that could lead him out of this peculiar situation.

Kuber's attempts to find a solution were in vain; nothing could help him at that moment. As he tried to summon his status screen or use his unique ability, nothing appeared.

Lost in his thoughts, he snapped back to attention when a random screen materialized in front of him.

Perplexed by this unexpected choice, Kuber wondered if he should pick randomly or carefully consider his decision.

'What should I do? Is there a right choice?' he thought.

After pondering for a moment, Kuber decided to go with the Neutral Faction. It seemed like the safest option out of the three.

—————

[You have chosen The Neutral Faction]

[You will now become a part of the Neutral Faction]

Uncertain about the consequences of his choice, Kuber knew he had to make a decision to survive. What awaited him in this new faction, he couldn't be certain, but he was ready to face it.

*********

—————

Kuber was overwhelmed by the numerous options presented before him. He couldn't believe he had the opportunity to choose his race now. The list included around 50-60 different races, each seeming like something straight out of fantasy.

"Elf, dwarf, fairy... These races sound like they belong in a storybook. How am I supposed to pick one from all of these?" he mused, feeling the weight of his decision.

Out of the many options, three races caught Kuber's attention. Curious to learn more, he clicked on them in an attempt to get their descriptions.

—————

[Draconian] – The Draconians are a majestic fusion of dragons and humans, exuding regal nobility with their resplendent wings and shimmering scales. They possess mastery over dragon magic, capable of breathing fire and controlling elements with grace. As skilled knights and protectors, they uphold ancient dragon lore, defending justice and wisdom in the realms they safeguard.

[Moonstriders] – Enigmatic and graceful beings, the Moonstriders share a profound connection with the mystical energies of the moon. Their silvery hair and celestial eyes radiate an otherworldly beauty that captivates all who see them. They can commune with nature's spirits, and converse with animals and celestial forces under the moon's glow. The moon enhances their abilities, empowering them with potent lunar magic.

[Vampire] – Vampires emanate charm and danger, drawing others to them with a magnetic allure. Possessing extraordinary physical prowess, they are stronger, faster, and have heightened senses beyond those of ordinary mortals. Immortal and timeless, they are not bound by the limitations of regular life. However, their immortality demands the consumption of others' life essence in the form of blood.

—————

Now that Kuber had the descriptions, he needed to make a critical choice. Each race offered unique abilities and characteristics. He pondered the decision carefully, knowing it would have a profound impact on his journey in this new world.

'Woah! These descriptions are quite lengthy,' Kuber thought, feeling even more perplexed by the decision he had to make. 'Which one should I choose?'

All three races intrigued him with their sense of mystery. The Draconian race, named after dragons, seemed to offer unparalleled strength. However, Kuber hesitated due to the potential restrictions associated with their knightly inclinations.

The Moonstriders, on the other hand, appeared as an enigmatic and graceful race with an extraordinary connection to the moon's energies. But the fact that their true abilities could only be harnessed under moonlight posed a concern.

As for the Vampire race, Kuber had heard of them in legends, known for their alluring charm and heightened physical abilities. The concept of near-immortality was enticing, but he couldn't ignore their need to consume the life essence of others to survive.

Amidst these choices, each with its own advantages and drawbacks, Kuber knew he needed to carefully consider which race suited his playstyle and aligned with the character he envisioned for this new world.

Kuber found himself in a state of perplexity as he pondered the three available choices. Each race had its own set of strengths and weaknesses, adding to the complexity of his decision.
