The Pillar

"What was that right now?" asks Tifa as she never saw something similar to Kieron's TDT.

She was taking some distance from Kieron as well as Cloud when Yui says, "That was his Demon form we call it, True Devil Trigger. There is another form more human that we call Devil Trigger."

"Does that mean that you are Monsters as well," says Cloud quite insensitive as Yui sighs.

"We aren't monsters. We are more human than anything else. If I had to point out a monster I just needed to point at you," says Yui as Cloud now looked angry at her.

"See it hurts when someone calls you a monster. My brother might not care but others will. So suck it up and get over it," says Yui as she left the two standing while following the other three.

"She is right. We shouldn't have judged them by appearance," says Cloud thinking he made a mistake as he looked at Tifa who nods after hesitating for a moment.

They then catch up to the group as Cloud and Tifa apologize to them for distancing themselves when they see fire coming from what looked like a tower.

"Oh no the pillar," says Tifa as everyone except for Aerith looked at her.

"If the pillar falls the whole plate will follow and bury the slums completely under it," says Aerith as everyone had now a paled face just thinking about how many people would die if the plate really falls.

"We must hurry," says Kieron when they hear shots coming from the pillar as someone was announcing that Avalanche was trying to destroy the pillar and that everyone shouldn't panic because Shinra is doing its best to stop them.

"Is Avalanche really behind this?" asks Yui as Tifa and Cloud shake their head.

"No Barret wouldn't do this. Marlene lives in the slums of Sector 7," says Tifa as the four looked at Tifa and Cloud confused.

"Barret is the leader of a cell of Avalanche that separated from the real Avalanche and Marlene is the daughter of Barret. He would never put her in danger," says Tifa as they advance and arrived at the train station of the slums.

The people were in a panic as they looked at what was happening while others were talking to some Infantrymen to open the gates so they could evacuate.

Tifa looked up and could see the members of Avalanche climbing up the pillar while shooting at the Helicopters of Shinra. Then a black man with a Gatling Gun for a hand sees Tifa and says, "Tifa get to Seventh Heaven and look after Marlene."

Then the man continues to move upwards. Tifa was now split with going to help them or going to Seventh Heaven and look after Marlene when Aerith says, "Just go. I will go and look for that Marlene. I will take her somewhere safe."

Suddenly a man that was quite chubby arrived and sees the group walking towards them while saying, "Cloud. Tifa. You are alright. We were worried."

"Wedge," says Tifa as Wedge smiles at the group.

"I was trying to get the people out of here but it doesn't work because the Infantrymen won't make way for the people," says Wedge when Yui and Nora nod.

"We will help you with that, aren't I right, Aerith," says Yui as Aerith nods determinedly.

"I will go with those two up then. Take good care of Aerith," says Kieron as the others nod.

They separated as Kieron went with Cloud and Tifa towards the Pillar while Nora, Yui, and Aerith joined Wedge to help the people to get away as they began by threatening on storming the gates making the younger of the Infantrymen open the gates so the people could begin to evacuate.

In the meantime, John and Nesiara were near the Pillar seeing everything when Nesiara asks, "Do we intervene with it?"

"We will but in a different way. You will teleport everyone away while I catch the plate and keep it in the air," says John as he had everything planned.

"What about Kieron and the others? They won't just give up and roll over for us," says Nesiara as she smiled at John knowing that their son was too stubborn to let the plate fall.

"Don't worry I have that covered," says John as he opens a portal that showed them a man and a woman that were following a big black man.

"You want to use the two as bait. Not bad," says Nesiara as she was thinking John was becoming a second Jack.

"I'm not Jack," says John as Nesiara smiles at him.

"But you plan like him," says Nesiara as John looks at the pillar.

"Well, we are related after all," says John not denying it.

"Well, I hope Kieron doesn't get angry. Where do I teleport them?" says Nesiara as John points towards the Wall Market.

"On the Playground between the Wall Market and the Wall to Sector 7," says John as Nesiara nods.

"I really hope the boy isn't talented in Medical Ninjutsu and takes his time healing them before taking them away," says John as he and Nesiara were overwatching everything.

Kieron was running up the pillar with Tifa and Cloud. They fought their way up while being shot at when Kieron throws some ki balls towards the Helicopters trying to scare them away.

One of the balls hit a helicopter making it explode. The others turned away to not get hit by them when Cloud says, "Good job."

They continued as they find a man with short brown hair wearing a red bandana making his back hair stand up. He was heavily wounded when Tifa says, "Biggs, you are heavily wounded."

"You mean this," says Biggs as he wanted to laugh when he felt pain stopping midway while saying, "Don't make me laugh. It's not even that big."

"How about I send him to Yui and Nora?" asks Kieron as Biggs looks at Kieron.

"Is he a new member?" asks Biggs when Tifa smiles while Cloud had a little smile on his face when Biggs says, "Is that a smile on your face."

"He is a friend who helped us get here in time," says Tifa as Kieron puts his hand on Biggs before Biggs began to flicker and disappears.

"Where is he?" asks Tifa as Kieron points down.

"Somewhere down there. He should be beside Yui and the others. They will heal him and then he should be as good as new," says Kieron with confidence that Biggs will make it.

"We should continue to move upwards instead of talking here," says Cloud as both Kieron and Tifa nod.

They continue running up when they see the stairs were broken. They needed to find another way up when Kieron makes hand seals before another Kieron appeared beside them.

"What in the world-," says Tifa when suddenly Kieron and his clone take both and jumps towards the next floor and so on until finding a young woman with long brown hair that was tied into a ponytail.

She also had a bandana tied around her head. She was wounded even worse than Biggs as Cloud asks, "Jessie, you alright?"

"Ah, it's you Cloud. I really wanted to go on a date with you," says Jessie slowly as Cloud looks unchanged while Tifa gave him a stare.

"She looks like she might die at any moment," says Kieron when Jessie looks at him.

"Who is this pretty boy. Is he your replacement," says Jessie thinking she would die any moment when Kieron's clone dissolves since he needed to concentrate.

He placed his hand on the wound. His hand began to shine green as Jessie says, "I will be dying soon. Whatever you want to do it won't work."

"Can you shut your mouth. It's already hard enough for me since I wasn't trained in Medical Ninjutsu. I can use it but it's harder for me," says Kieron a little bit angry because Jessie was deconcentrating him.

"You two keep going. I will catch up to you after she is out of danger," says Kieron as he began anew to heal Jessie who began to feel warm inside her body as if she was really healing.

Cloud and Tifa nod as they began to move upwards again. Kieron took his time healing Jessie when she asks, "Why are you helping us?"

"Why not. You aren't really the bad guys," says Kieron as Jessie smiled when Kieron continues, "But you aren't the good guys either. You exploded a Reactor and many people were wounded and some even killed."

"I never thought it would be this big. I had calculated everyt-" says Jessie when she was interrupted by an explosion that happened over their head. Jessie began to shine bright as she disappeared from the Pillar while Kieron stayed back.

At the same time, Kieron and the others were climbing the Pillar.

Yui was helping Wedge to evacuate the Sector while Aerith went with Nora and an old woman named Marle to another place where a tunnel was to lead to the people out when suddenly a person appears beside Nora.

"And you are?" asks Nora as Biggs had no clue where he was.

"I'm Biggs. Where am I? I was just a moment ago on the Pillar and now I'm here," says Biggs as Nora and Aerith looked closer at him.

"Biggs is that you," says Aerith recognizing him from the Leaf House as he used to be a teacher there.

"Aerith, what are you doing here?" asks Biggs as Nora sees the wounds.

"He's one of your friends?" asks Nora as Aerith nods and Nora's hand begins to shine green.

She begins to treat him while asking, "From where do you know him?"

"The Leef House. He used to be a teacher there. The children really miss you. Why did you leave?" says Aerith as Nora was treating Biggs quite fast.

"I wanted to help the planet by joining Avalanche that's why I left the Leaf House to not drag them all in," says Biggs as Nora sighs.

"Don't let my sister find out or she might whoop your ass," says Nora as Yui was quite attached to the children.

"What do you mean?" asks Biggs as Aerith smiles.

"Yui took over your place as a teacher in the Leaf House. She loves the children to the point that she would kill for them if needed," says Aerith as Biggs could now stand again without feeling pain.

"You should help her and Wedge around the Pillar evacuating the people," says Nora as Biggs nods.

"I hope to see you after this Aerith," says Biggs and continues, "Thank you for healing me."

Then he moves toward the other exit while Nora and Aerith were helping Marle suddenly a giant explosion was heard and everyone looked up in a panic seeing the plate coming down.
