Talking with the Soul King

The aftermath of the battle was only a little celebration for successfully defended against the Arrancars. John left right away again to meet with the Leader of the Gotei 13 with Nesiara and the other members of Soul Society.

"Why are we going there again?" asks Nesiara as she felt a little left out but still happy that John was back.

"To make a treaty between the Arrancars and the Shinigamis," says John as the Shinigamis stopped all of a sudden while John continues, "Not all of them are bad. Most were just dragged into it by Aizen. They are more like you than you might think."

"How do you know that?" asks Toshiro not believing what John said.

"I lived for some months with them. They have different personalities like everyone. The ones still left alive are the best to lead the Arrancars. The ones I sent to the invasion were those I didn't trust to lead them to a better future," says John as explained to them what he meant.

"What he means is that only the good ones are still alive while the bad ones are under the ground or better said sealed away," says Gin as the Shinigamis were looking suspiciously at him.

"He was undercover protecting you all by playing the bad guy," says John.

"As you did," says Nesiara showing a bit of anger.

"Yes, sometimes we need to fool the people we trust so we can protect them from greater pain," says John explaining to them.

They continued walking until arriving at Soul Society. They weren't really welcomed as Yamamoto was holding his sword in hand while the other Shinigamis that didn't join the battle was there ready to attack them.

They relaxed when they saw it was only the Shinigami group that entered Soul Society. They still had their guard up because of Gin and John but the swords were in their sheaths.

They all went to the Gotei 13 main building with all Captain present when Yamamoto says, "Now how did the invasion go?"

"Everything was taken care of even when we were surprised by the help of the former 3rd Captain and John," says Byakuya as he was eying John wanting to have a rematch with John.

"And why did you two help?" asks Yamamoto as he eyed both of them up.

"We were undercover. Someone needed to do that and don't say you didn't know about Gin since I have seen him sent reports about everything to you. Aizen was already suspecting him if it wasn't for me making a ruckus in some other place when he sent the reports," says John as everyone looked at Yamamoto wanting to hear a confirmation.

"That is true what he said. I had for a long time suspected Aizen since the Visored Incident. I needed a scapegoat and found one in Urahara who volunteered back then. I have also wronged the Shinigamis that became Visored and will reinstate them once this is over. Not everyone will be on their previous post but some will," says Yamamoto as he revealed some of the secrets he was keeping from everyone.

"I have a favor to ask," says John.

"And that is?" asks Yamamoto.

"I want a peace treaty between the Arrancars and the Shinigamis. Some of the Arrancars were dragged into it by Aizen and didn't really want to fight the Soul Society but wants to peaceful convivial with you," says John as everyone that didn't hear it before was shocked to hear that from him.

"And why should we?" asks Yamamoto curious to find out John's resolve behind his intention.

"You would make me an enemy since I will protect them even when it means I won't be able to leave from this world," says John as they suddenly feel Pressure on their body. John was standing fine as well as Nesiara, Yamamoto, and Unohana when a Royal Guards appear in the room and the pressure disappears

"The Soul King awaits you three in his Palace," says Oetsu who was recognized by Nesiara and John.

"It seems the Soul King wants to decide that himself. We should go to find it out what he has to say," says Yamamoto as they four disappear from the room.

"It hasn't been long since we felt this pressure. Do you think the Soul King wanted to warn us from those two back then when he used his spiritual pressure on us?" asks Toshiro as the others looked a bit conflicted by what they saw.

"They didn't even feel the pressure that we felt. It was almost as they didn't care," says Unohana as the others didn't have a glance while concentrating not to fall over.

"They are monsters after all," says Gin since he saw what John was able to do with just one sword of all the swords he carries around.

They continued as Gin changed back into his Shinigami robes and his former Lieutenant gave him the Captain insignia back. The other four were by the time already at the Soul King Palace.

"What do you think the Soul King wants from us?" asks Nesiara as she was curious while John just sighs.

"He most likely wants us gone as fast as possible and with my threat saying I would stay he would interfere. You know that he is afraid of Logan. If someone of his world was making our path difficult he wouldn't interfere. But that doesn't mean that he won't recreate the World in the next cycle," says John as they entered the Throne Room and they could see a nervous Soul King.

"Welcome back," says the Soul King as he summons two chairs for them to sit down. They do so and he continues, "So you want a treaty between Soul Society and Hueco Mundo."

"That's right, but not with every Hollow just with those that follow four specific ones. Tier Harribel, Nelliel Tu Odelschwank, Coyote Starrk, and Lilynette Gingerbuck. Those that can't follow those four can't be negotiated with," says John as the Soul King was looking at them.

"And how will you secure that they won't eat any souls they shouldn't?" asks the Soul King.

"Aren't you Omnipotent like every God. Just think about a rule they shouldn't cross," says Nesiara as the Soul King as well as John facepalmed.

"There are only two that are like you said. Every other God isn't they have Divine Strength higher than deities and immortals. Only Jack and Logan can bend rules as they want with Logan having to follow one rule to never enter a world until it's time is up. He can enter but only for a short time as the world would enter into the Apocalypse prematurely," says the Soul King explaining to Nesiara something John already figured out in Hueco Mundo.

"I can inform them to uphold a law that makes the Hollow not hunt the living or dead as long as the souls don't wander into Hueco Mundo," says John as he couldn't bann them from hunting for food in Hueco Mundo.

"How about this. We send food and they send the Souls that wander to Hueco Mundo to Soul Society. It would benefit them and us. Maybe we could create a new Division for the Arrancars to implement them in our system," says the Soul King as Yamamoto was opening his eyes wide looking at the Soul King in disbelief.

"Are you serious. It could lead to chaos," says Yamamoto when a Royal Guard stopped him.

"Or it could lead to peace. Just think that we didn't need to fight against the Hollows because they get their food from us. Soon we wouldn't need to fight Hollows except they don't belong to the group John mentioned. The Shinigamis could focus on training and prepare for the war that is to come," says the Soul King before he continues, "And they could help us in that war too."

"Which war?" asks Nesiara not understanding what war they were talking about.

"The Quincy War that is approaching even with Yhwach dead it doesn't mean they wouldn't attack without him," says John as Yamamoto looked at both John and the Soul King.

"You mean the man Logan killed when we arrived?" asks Nesiara as Yamamoto was now confused since he thought Yhwach was dead for a long time.

"Indeed girl. But that won't stop the Quincy. The plan was set in work since their defeat almost a thousand years ago and soon it should unfold. We will need as many allies as possible for when it happens and Hueco Mundo will also be in danger when that war begins," says Soul King as he looked at John and sees that he knew about that while saying, "But it seems you knew about it and wanted to make a treaty as soon as possible."

"That's right. You will need each other to survive that crisis even without Yhwach on the other side," says John as the Soul King creates a Piece of Paper that was the treaty between both Hueco Mundo and Soul Society.

"Yamamoto, I want you to deliver this to Hueco Mundo with John and Nesiara and return after everything is done. I want your 3rd Captain with you since he knows the Arrancars too. The treaty is for both the Arrancars and us very important since it will help both of us. Now you all can leave back to your duties," says the Soul King as Oetsu guides them out of the Throne Room.

"It was easier than expected," says Nesiara as Yamamoto was holding the treaty.

"We will leave tomorrow for Hueco Mundo to meet with the Arrancars," says Yamamoto as he puts the treaty away and continues, "You both should stay here tonight so we can go together."

"Alright then but we should send some people a message that everything is alright on our end shouldn't we," says Nesiara as they walked out of the Palace.

"We will take care of it. Just tell me who you want to inform and I will send some Shinigamis to inform them about your situation around here," says Yamamoto as they arrived at the Kuchiki Manor when Yamamoto says, "Since you are friends of Rukia Kuchiki she should entertain you tonight while I explain to the Captain everything about the treaty."

Yamamoto then leaves the two in the hands of Rukia who was in the company of Renji. Renji was giving John a glare while Rukia was pretty nice to him since he helped in her jailbreak.

They stayed there and Nesiara was questioning John as well as Justice out to find out about everything they have done in Hueco Mundo while she recounted her time separated trying to make John feel some guilt from leaving her alone.
