Fort Condor

In the meantime John and Nesiara were after Yuffie, the others were traveling towards Fort Condor when Cloud says, "So Shinra wants to kill the Condor and destroy the egg."

"It seems so," says Kieron as they were almost there.

"But why?" asks Tifa as she was calm again.

"We don't know that. Maybe our parents would know more about it," says Nora as they arrived finding outside the Fort a Shinra Camp.

They pass the camp without being caught arriving at the Fort as they knock against the door. Nothing happens when Kieron says, "Maybe we should fly up there and see why no one answers."

"We should, but what about the Chocobos?" asks Aerith as John and Nesiara weren't around.

"No problem," says Yui as Justice takes the Chocobos away when the siblings clone themselves to take the group up.

They were flying when Kieron says, "We should teach you how to use Ki than you could fly for yourself."

"If God wanted us to he would have given us wings," says Barret as he still wasn't used to flying.

They landed and could see the Mako Reactor that was made into a little village when suddenly rifles were pointed at them. People were on the walls defending them and an old man asks, "Who are you and how did you manage to climb up here?"

"We aren't with Shinra. I'm Barret Wallace, leader of AVALANCHE. We can help you," says Barret as the old man looks at him.

"I don't care if you are AVALANCHE or not. If you really want to help against Shinra then be prepared. They will attack soon enough and we will need every man we can get," says the old man leading the resistance in Fort Condor as they others lowered their rifles.

"Shinra brought something yesterday night. They will most likely attack today and we could need any help we could get to push them back," says the old man as he looked down to the Shinra camp.

"So you need our help," says Kieron as the old man nods.

"That's right, like said before I give a damn about who you are. I only need people to help us defeat the troops outside pushing them back to Junon," says the old man as he looked at them.

"We can help but only for today but I think it would be easier to help the Condor with its egg," says Yui as she saw that as the fastest way possible if the baby Condor comes out of the egg.

"What do you mean?" asks the old man curiously.

"If we help to hatch the egg the Condor would leave and you wouldn't need to defend the egg any longer," says Yui explaining it to the old man and the group.

"And how would you do that?" asks the old man as Yui looks at Kieron.

"Don't look at me. I can produce flames but that won't help," says Kieron as Yui shakes her head.

"No, it will if we combine it with Aerith control over the Lifestream," says Yui as she saw how good Aerith could manipulate the Lifestream without knowing it.

"But I'm not that good at it," says Aerith as she felt that she only had luck until now.

"Aerith many will die today if you don't try it," says Yui as she was telling the truth many would die on both sides if Aerith didn't try it.

Aerith was looking nervous as she never used the Lifestream on purpose. Kieron puts his hand on her shoulder and says, "You don't have to do it if you aren't confident in it. No one would hold it against you."

Kieron was calming Aerith done since she wasn't looking good as Aerith nods and says determined, "No, I have to try. I don't think Yui would ask it out of me if she didn't believe that I could do it."

"Alright, but don't overdo it. I will be right beside you," says Kieron as he takes her hand.

Aerith smiles while feeling warm inside as she was holding Kieran's hand and asks the old man, "Can you take us there?"

"Of course, but I hope you all know what you are doing," says the old man as they nod when they hear something.

"Shinra is attacking!" shouts a resistance fighter taking everyone's' attention.

Nora summons her armor and sword as he looked at Kieron and Aerith while saying, "We will buy you enough time. Just hatch the egg."

The old man nods as he commands the resistance to their post as the group splits in two with Yui being with Cloud and Tifa while Nora was with Red XIII and Barret.

"You two with me," says the old man guiding both up to where the Condor and the egg were.

Aerith and Kieron arrived at the roof and see the Condor and the egg. The Condor saw them but didn't see them as a danger because the old man was with them.

Aerith kneeled before the egg looking like she was praying. Kieron was behind her supporting her silently while beginning to ignite as he was beginning to heat up the egg making it be on the ideal temperature.

The Lifestream suddenly began to rush out from under the egg as it was beginning to surround it. The Condor was seeing everything with curious eyes as it spread its wings.

"What is happening?" asks the old man seeing how the Lifestream was surrounding the egg when suddenly the egg moved.

It moved from one side to the other until a peak pierced the shell of the egg and a head could be seen.

The Condor gave a loud happy cry out from itself that traveled over the battlefield stunning everyone on it.

The newborn Condor seemed to be already a flyable Condor as it had its feathers and stretched its wings breaking the rest of the eggshell being completely free.

The Condor mother pushed the newborn and the newborn began to fly as the mother followed. In the crate left behind by the Egg was a red Materia and a Materia that was too big to have been made by Shinra.

It was too raw to be made by them as Kieron took both and put them in Paradise before hugging Aerith from behind whispering, "You did it."

"We did it," says Aerith as she smiled before opening her eyes while caressing Kieron's face with her right hand.

At the same time Kieron and Aerith were dealing with the Condor and the egg, the two groups were running down the Fort to the gates.

"You think they will make it?" asks Red XIII worried as Nora nods.

"Yes," says Nora with confidence as they almost arrived and she continues, "Aerith is the best in manipulating the Lifestream even if she doesn't have the confidence in herself because she does it without knowing it."

"So she can control the Lifestream because she is a Cetra," says Red XIII as Nora nods.

"That's right and that's also why Sephiroth wants her dead," says Nora as both stopped all of a sudden after hearing that when Nora stopped as well and says, "What's wrong."

"Sephiroth wants to kill her," says Barret as Nora nods.

"Yes, but not only because she is a Cetra but because she has a special Materia. Didn't you notice that she has a Materia on her hair ribbon," says Nora informing both as they nod.

"That Materia is older than all of us together since it's a Materia made by the Cetra to fight against Jenova or better to stop her. That's why the Cetra are giving it down from generation to generation and with Aerith being the last," says Nora as both looked seriously.

"She is the last person that could defeat Sephiroth," says Red XIII seriously as Nora nods.

"That's right, anyway we should catch up to the others," says Nora as they began to move again.

They arrived near the gates seeing the trenches the Resistance made across the gates when they see the gates being pushed inwards but not giving way for now as the Fighters were pointing the rifles at the gates while the two groups looked at each other.

"Barret you stay here and give us cover. Red you follow me into the fight," says Nora while she looked at Yui that transformed into Beetlemon.

The gates broke and smoke was seen at first when the troops rushed them when the fighters opened fire as well as Barret reaping the first wave of troops down.

The fighters were reloading when the second wave stormed the Fort and the two groups rushed at them.

They clashed as Nora was dancing on the battlefield killing her enemies in one swing while Yui was overpowering them by slamming her fists together before hitting the ground creating the earth to break and lightning hit the Shinra troops.

Cloud had his Bustersword surrounded with Armament Haki like Tifa her fist while Red XIII had his claws and fangs surrounded as well as half of his body to protect him from the bullets.

The fight was getting quite intense as more people swarmed into the hold and a machine looking like the Devil was portrayed in the culture of their father just with giant hands and thorn overcoated.

Both rush at it while being coated in lightning overcharging it making explode as black smoke surrounds both when they hear a cry. The people looked up and saw the next moment two Condors fly away.

The people stopped fighting since there was no reason any longer. They Resistance saw it as a win because the Condor and it's newborn were alive while the troops saw it as their win because the Condor wasn't on the Fort any longer.

All suddenly cheered confusing Barret as well as the rest of the group when both sisters come out of the smoke and see it. They began to treat the wounded since the fight was over and there weren't enemies any longer.

Many were wounded if not killed but most were lucky since they were just playing dead to not really die because of the second wave of the bullet rain.

"Why are we helping them," asks Barret as he sees Nora and Yui healing the Shinra Troops.

"The battle is over and now only the wounded and the dead are left behind. Look around," says Yui as they all did and saw as the people weren't even angry at each other and were in each other's arms.

"Why are they celebrating?" asks Barret as Yui looked at him seriously.

"Because they aren't enemies any longer. The reason they were fighting left making both happy. But someone that only knows how to blow up things wouldn't understand it," says Yui as she was still angry at AVALANCHE for blowing the Reactors up.
