Death of Felicia

Some days passed since Dante killed Sid every channel was reporting about what happened in Redgrave City even with S.H.I.E.L.D. trying to cover it up.

But nothing could be done since two Avengers were involved in the incident which made it quite difficult for the actual Leader of the Avengers which was Superman a.k.a. James Zor Parker.

He was holding a press conference on which he explained to the best of his capabilities what happened in Redgrave City and why Black Widow as well as Spiderman was there dealing with the situation instead of being in New York.

"I hate my job," says James as Dawn smiles at him while helping him out of his suit.

"I told you not to become the Leader of the Avengers and leave it vacant when my father came to offer you that position," says Dawn with a smile as James sighs.

In the meantime in Redgrave City, everyone was in the warehouse as the adults lifted their alcoholic drink up while the children got orange juice and were clueless why the adults were doing that except for Patty.

"To our victory," says Nesiara before they drank it in one gulp.

Mari picked the twins up and took them into her arms before saying, "To believe that those two are your grandchildren when I remember that you were born some years after me."

"Like said before I am older than grandma even if I don't look like it," says John as he looked at his cousin.

"I myself have a toddler running around at home the whole time when I am not out like right now," says Mari as she let go of the twins before taking out her wallet showing John a picture of her little angel.

"Who is the father?" asks John curious since black hair doesn't run in the Parker Family.

"Some bastard that my father straightened out once he found out that he got me pregnant and didn't want to take responsibility for it," says Mari as she laughs out loud remembering James pissed expression when he found out that someone impregnated his princess and didn't to take responsibility about it.

"Not the greatest idea to piss off Superman," says Benjamin joking about it while Nora and Nesiara looked at John for more context the same with Trish.

"James is half Kryptonian which makes him almost invincible with the only people able to stand against him being my uncle Arthur and my aunt Alura as they are the same," says John since not all of Jack's children inherited the same powers and abilities.

"I think that Superwoman is stronger than Superman since she is more reckless and takes greater risks," says Benjamin remembering correctly that his father and grandfather said the same before.

"Nah, the strongest between all six siblings would be Adam going by what my father said before. It is just that Adam never walked the way of a Superhero and stuck with being a scientist," says Mari as she remembers it faintly that James once told her that Adam was the strongest of the siblings.

"My father? That can't be possible he is just a regular scientist that loves his job," says John as Nora and Nesiara now looked at Mari to explain why Adam was the strongest.

"Adam inherited the most powers from Jack under which were Franklin Richards's and the Phoenix's powers," says Mari as that was what her father told her before.

"That would put him at the top of the food chain as he would be standing over Jean Grey and Franklin Richards," says Benjamin a bit shocked about this revelation as was John since he never saw his father use his powers.

"You know your father, always cold and grumpy and never showing his emotions publicly to anyone," says Mari as Nora could agree with her since Adam was like that when she visited her grandparents with Mary.

"I remember when I first met him he was cold at first but warmed up when he saw Yui and the twins back then. He had a bright smile on his face back then," says Nesiara remembering her first meeting with her in-laws.

As they continued talking about it for a while longer while Dante was talking with Patty about her future since her mother didn't need to run any longer and could take care of her from now on which made both sad since it seemed to be the moment they part from each other.

That was when Nina revealed that they would be staying in Redgrave City for a while before they move away since she wanted Patty to have a quieter life than she had her whole life.

Years passed since then and the twins were now ten years old and are going to the local school which Patty attends as well.

Nina still hasn't managed to get her daughter out of the city since she was too stubborn to leave her father figure behind. Nina was forced to open a small shop in which she would sell Arcane Artifacts or read the cards for her customers.

Patty helps her out when she isn't looking after Dante which made Dante feel a bit awkward since Patty was sixteen years old and almost a grown woman which needed to spread her wings and find her own way.

Trish would from time to time drop by to see that Dante was still alive when Dante received a blue letter which confused him as he opens it. He reads the content of the letter before standing up in shock.

Patty knew that something was wrong because Dante was looking at a picture of him and his brother which he had taken two years ago when he was in Fortuna with Patty.

"Did something happen to Vergil?" asks Patty worried as Dante sighs before picking up the phone and he began to input numbers.

"It seems that the religious order in Fortuna turned into a Demonic Cult over the last two years. They are praying to my father. Vergil has gone into hiding with Ava while Nero stayed behind because of the girl he loves," says Dante angry that they didn't intervene earlier.

When Dante visited Fortuna Vergil had a hunch that something was going on in Fortuna that wasn't normal since Demons started to appear in the surroundings of the city.

Dante offered to look into it but Vergil told him not to do so since it would be too flashy which could make the people of Fortuna drive Vergil and his family out of the city.

"Shouldn't you inform the others as well?" asks Patty as Dante hangs up the phone because nobody in Fortuna was taking it.

"This is a family matter that doesn't involve the others. If I just had acted earlier we wouldn't have had this problem," says Dante not wanting to involve the Crownguard Family in it.

"Then I will go with you," says Patty surprising Dante as she transformed into an Ash Warframe in front of him.

"John gave me one after I finished my training under Nesiara," says Patty as she was holding shurikens between her finger.

Patty wanted to take over Devil May Cry once Dante was too old to take care of the business so she asked Nesiara when she was nine years old to train her.

"That is out of the question. You are not coming with me to Fortuna," says Dante determined to not allow Patty to join him since it could be far too dangerous.

"It is either I or the others!" shouts Patty giving Dante an ultimatum.

"You really don't know why I don't want to involve the Crownguard family?" asks Dante surprised that Patty didn't know it as he throws at her the newspaper.

Patty catches it and reads the headline out loud, "Felicia Hardy Parker went from us in her sleep."

Patty was confused for a moment before she got stuck on the Parker and she looked at Dante for confirmation when Dante says, "John is a Parker as you know and Felicia Hardy is his grandmother."

"That's why I didn't see the twins at school this week," says Patty as she thought that they were under house arrest for doing something stupid.

"They left a week ago so they could tell her their final goodbye. It wouldn't be fair to ask a friend to help me after losing someone important to them," says Dante as he knows how it feels to lose someone important and he knew that this wasn't the first time since John told him that he mourned for his son once.

Then there was Jack's death which John didn't have time to process since it didn't seem real to him that Jack could die since he was a Godking in all but name.

But now with Felicia's death, things seemed to sink into him and he now had to mourn for two people at the same time. Jack was there for him when he thought that Bran was dead helping him pass through that experience.

Now one of his grandmothers died. He seemed to not be the only emotional person today as even his aunt Eva came home from Xavier's School to say her final goodbye to her mother.

Kara was there before she collected Felicia's soul in tears before guiding her into the Nothingness leaving a cold body behind.

The twins seemed to not understand what was going on as well as other children from the younger generation since Felicia looked like she was sleeping soundly to them.

Everyone was waiting for one person in particular but John and Nesiara, as well as Kara, knew that he will not come since he was dead. Instead of Jack appearing out of nowhere Logan did and he sat down on a chair not wanting to do what he had to do right now since they all were grieving but it would be better now than later.

"Jack won't come to the funeral," says Logan shocking everyone since they all knew that Jack was a loyal man to his wives.

"Why won't he come to his wife's own funeral?" asks Eva angry as it was only fulling the hatred she felt for her father.

"Because my brother died many years ago," says Logan sadly.

"I nor Kara informed anyone except for Felicia about it. Why do you think Felicia left with Kara before Jack could arrive? It was because she knew that Jack was dead," says Logan as the mood changed drastically from bad to worse.

"How did that bastard die?" asks Eva insensitive about it when Logan summoned an urn containing the ashes of Jack which were in Paradise.

"He seemed to have understood something that I still don't comprehend. I can't say more since I couldn't listen to the last conversation he had but I know that he wanted to be buried beside his wives and parents," says Logan not mentioning how Jack died as James takes the urn from Logan before Logan disappears again.
