The next day was Saturday and Leon got up very energized and fresh. He stretched and left the room without bothering to wake Dorita from her deep slumber.
He went down and found his mother preparing breakfast in the kitchen and he went in and stood by the cabinet.
"Is Dorita up?" his mother asked after a while.
"No, she's still sleeping."
Leon received the glass of milk given to him by his mother and drank it slowly. He savoured the taste of the warm milk and craved for more.
He was thinking about his football practice and how he could impress the coach and fortunately he had come up with a few ideas. He knew very well how much his coach hated individual play and encouraged the players to not only rely on their personal skills but also on each other.
