Another beginning for a bad end

Astora woke up wrapped in bandages and groaning in pain, he sees a ceiling making him recall when woke up in the hospital.

"Deja vú..."

"Did you have a sweet dream."

Loren beside a window sitting in a chair and reading a book. Astora looked at him while having a tired expression and asked him a question.

"Am I still on Fairfield Academy?"

"Yes you are."

"Where's Rizette?"

Loren was hesitant a bit and sigh as Astora was confused of his expression till Loren finally answered him.

"The Order of Tremont chained her to a pole and deemed her a traitor and about to burn her....."

Astora immediately get out of his bed and exit the room. Loren tried to grabbed him but Astora shoved him as he ran. Astora hears the gossip of students as he pass by them.

"The Fountain."

As Astora was running he hit Grant and stumble. Astora quickly get back on his feet as Grant also tried to catch him and call his name. Astora finally reached the center of the academy and saw Rizette pleading for her life as Knights with different uniform and a man with a high ranking uniform shouts.

"For humanity shall we burn this witch---"

Astora ran up to the man punched him. As he turns around to look at Rizette he saw one of the Knights of Tremont throwing a torch at the woods piled up on the pole where Rizette was tied up. Rizette had a scared expression before she was burned. Astora was detained by the Knights as he hears the screams of his wife, he kept shouting her name. As Rizette scream her voice started to become deep, in the fire two orb was glowing. Rizette's body wasn't visible but Astora felt something wasn't right.

A demonic scream came out and extinguished the fire. A humanoid white haired creature with a black stripe in the middle of it's hair fall down on the ground as knights tried to attack it. The creature immediately swing at them with the pole it was tied to. It shouted making everyone in the academy cover their ears. It looked at Astora with it's red eyes and the creature's expression changed. It jumped high landing in the roofs of the academy and ran away.

"Rizette!"

Astora chase after the creature after he realized who it was. As he reached the exit he saw creature jump over the gate as well scaring the horses making some of the Cavalry fall. Astora immediately jump on one of the horses and immediately chase after the creature.

[Rizette don't run! Rizette! Rizette!]

"The Executioner.….."

Astora heard the voice of the in his dream when he woke up in the hospital. Astora immediately shrugged ignoring so he can focus at Rizette.

Hours later it was already afternoon. Astora stopped at forest since that's where he last saw the creature. Astora enter the woods and can the creature's voice saying his name.

"Astora goddamit leave please....."

"Rizette?"

Astora heard the voice in the cave and entered it. As he enters, he saw his wife Rizette cowering in fear. Astora held Rizette's hand and tries to hug her.

"Astora no, no ,no."

Rizette tries to back away and make distance from Astora but she couldn't feel her legs. Rizette kept trying to back away but she was fatigue and didn't have enough strength to do it.

"Rizette stop trying please.. You won't hurt me, I know that so stop trying please."

He'd held Rizette tightly as she passes out from tiredness. Astora carry Rizette out of the cave and realize that people would be after them now.

Hours pass by it's already night, Astora and Rizette on a road, Astora was still awake but injured however. They stopped near a river and Astora lay down Rizette on a rock as she was asleep, He'd grab some sticks and managed to start a fire as they were in a cold night. Astora and Rizette were starving and tired so Astora checked the horse's saddle if it has any food. Astora found a cloak and dried potatoes, He'd go back to Rizette and cover her with the cloak then eat some dried potatoes. Astora didn't even try to sleep, he stayed awake to guard Rizette. As it was a quiet night, a sound of sticks snapping, Two Bandits were approaching the campfire, they could only see the rock and the light coming from behind it. As they immediately ran to look behind it they only see Rizette sleeping

"What the?"

"It's just a whore in here sleeping."

They looked around their surroundings and we're suspicious, the roamed around the camp, they realize the something off with Rizette. They approach her slowly as they raise their weapons at her. They hear the neigh of the horse and got distracted by it. Astora came out of nowhere and struck one of the bandit in the head with a rock causing him to be unconscious, the other turned around as Astora immediately grabbed a dagger the other bandit was holding. The bandit raise his sword and stabbed Astora on the shoulder, Astora retaliates with stabbing the bandit in the neck repeatedly as sword was stuck in his shoulders. As the bandit fall to the ground choking on his own blood, Astora slowly pull the sword out of his shoulders.

"Agh....Jesus just come out already."

Astora finally pulled the sword out of his shoulders causing alot of blood spill.

"Gah! Ngh...FUCK! I can't do healing magic!"

Astora immediately searched the bandit for bandages and realizes they don't have some, He looks at Rizette while holding the dagger

"Sorry.... I'll have to take some."

Astora cut a part of the cloak he covered Rizette with and wrapped it in his shoulders. He'd fall asleep leaning his head on Rizette's shoulders.

Another hours pass by, Astora woke up as Rizette was cooking some fishes and wearing clothes,

"Agh...Wha...."

"Morning love, you bled too much last night. Don't worry, I used a potion the bandits had."

"But..there weren't any potions?"

"There was, you just couldn't find it as you were tired."

"Is that--"

"Yes, it's the clothes the bandits you kill. Better safe than sorry."

"Here change your clothes too."

Rizette lay down some clothes for Astora. Astora stand up but still feel the pain last night. He'd take off his top and bottom and change infront of Rizette. Rizette didn't even take a peek and kept focusing on the fish.

"So I'm fugitive now...."

Rizette had a saddened expression. As she her world crumble in her mind, Astora hugged her from behind, tightly as if he wasn't letting her go.

"Don't worry, I'll be by your side, till death do us part.

Rizette chuckles as she was glad to be with Astora, She touches his hands as Astora kept hugging her.

"Till death do us part."
