The fight between the father and son

Kevin was now standing outside the magnificent Mei Mansion. He was waiting there for Mei Wang to come. He tapped his right foot consequently on the ground and looked at his watch. His gaze fell towards the entrance of the Mansion.

His revenge plan was getting started. Those bastards will soon fall on their feet. With this thought in his mind, his lips hooked up a little. He had already called up Mei Wang, he could be here at any moment now.

Soon, the sound of someone's hurried footsteps could be heard. He saw a silhouette walking in his direction. He quickly changed his expression into a person who was badly beaten and scared. He even tore down his clothes a little. 

Mei Wang wore a light green T-shirt with a black pyjama pants. His muscular body and biceps were shining with the moonlight. From looking at him, one could never guess that he had a son who was going to be twenty years old soon. Besides he accidentally sired Mei Wei when he was in his early youth.

He walked over to Kevin with a completely pissed-off face. He shouted at Kevin, "Hey! Why are you standing here like you are scared of someone?"

Kevin whimpered at his tone, "Mei Da Ge, I am looking like that because I am totally scared of your son. Please help me."

Mei Wang felt angrier, "What are you? A little child? Who got beaten up by a man and is now scared of him."

"I- I am not scared, Brother Wang but he is your son. How could I beat him back? Look at how badly he beat me. Look at my torn clothes," he complained to Mei Wang.

Mei Wang felt a headache forming. He put his hand on one side of his head. He felt that he couldn't sleep well at night, "Now, you are behaving like an aunty who comes to complain about someone's child when their child is beaten up by the other. Because of your actions today, I am telling you he won't let you come inside the house."

Kevin begged pitifully, "But brother you must do something. It is your house too. That bastard boy is not the only owner of the house, you are also the owner. You should- no you must show him, who is the real patriarch of the house. Only then the brat will learn his lesson."

When Mei Wang heard about showing Mei Wei his place, his anger toward Kevin subsided significantly. Now this rage was directed towards Mei Wei. He felt that what Kevin said was true. He was the father of that good-for-nothing scum.

What's more, all of this property was originally going to be his. He had every right to what he could or could not do with that property. Yes! He was the actual patriarch of the house. And he had decided that Kevin would live in the house. The brat's consent didn't matter to him. If that boy went against him, he would give him a good thrashing.

With this thought in mind, he told Kevin, "Okay, you come and live inside the house as long as you want. If that boy bothers you so much, I will give you a good thrashing. Now, follow me."

He motioned to Kevin. Kevin's eyes lit up. He happily cheered, "Yes, Wang Ge. I knew it. I knew you would help me. That scum boy would learn his lesson soon. He would know his place in the house and soon the whole property would belong to only you. I will pray for it."

Kevin showered Mei Wang with praise. Mei Wang's chest was swollen with pride.

Kevin looked at him and smirked inwardly. He thought that how easy it was for anyone to fool Mei Wang. He had always behaved like an obedient pet with Kevin and Sage. It was the first rule of being a sidekick, to praise the provider and behave like an obedient person. He always behaved coquettishly with Mei Wang and Sage Saetang. He even knew which nerve he had to press, so those mindless fools do what he wanted them to do.

Both of them entered the house. He looked around the living room after crossing the entrance corridor. There he saw the servant boy sitting on one of the couches in front of the large flat-screen TV. From the sound of the programme, it could be ascertained that the boy was watching some kind of documentary on the topic of technology in today's world. He was so immersed in the documentary that he didn't even notice them entering into the house. 

The boy's chin was placed on his right fist and long curly strands of hair fell on his forehead. He was sitting cross-legged on the couch. He looked somewhat cute. In Kevin's opinion, he was looking lustful to the core. But he was still curious about Mei Wei and Luo Li's whereabouts.

As he said this, he looked towards the direction of the stairs and he found both Mei Wei and Luo Li coming downstairs. There were some documents in his hands about which they were discussing something. He thought, 'These two are going to live for a hundred years and be a pain in the neck for us!'

Mei Wang also looked in their direction, he heard Luo Li telling Mei Wei, "Yes, this way the locals will get employment and it will be quite beneficial for their well-being too." Mei Wei was nodding with his head in agreement. Mei Wang snorted coldly after hearing this, the well-being of society and consumers was not in his rules. He only looked for his profit.

Mei Wei who was discussing his new project with Luo Li saw Mei Wang standing there, his gaze turned towards Kevin standing beside Mei Wang. He became angry instantly.

He closed the file and handed it to Luo Li. He quickly rushed downstairs. He grabbed Kevin from his collar and asked angrily, "How dare you to enter my house, after what you have done with Aman? Are you seeking your death?"

Kevin started pleading like a fish out of water. He begged Mei Wei, "Let me go. Let me go. Don't beat me again. Please don't."

Mei Wei was still holding him from his collar. Kevin looked at Mei Wang pitifully at Mei Wang, "Wang Da Ge, please help me. You said you would help me."

As he heard this, it was like Mei Wang came out of his trance. He pulled Mei Wei off of Kevin's collar and pushed him. Mei Wei was standing unproperly, so when his father pushed him, he staggered a little. He was on the verge of falling on the ground on his head. The tiled floor could fatally wound him.

But, before that could happen someone's silhouette caught him, thus, saving him from falling. Suddenly a plate in one of the servant's hands fell and broke into pieces. But in the already chaotic atmosphere, nobody noticed the broken plate. 

The plate was broken because the said servant was in utter disbelief. No, he was not shocked by the quarrel between the father and son because it happened once in a while. But he was shocked because his eyes were focused on Aman. 

At one moment he was completely immersed in the TV. He shut off the TV when he heard the argument. But the shocking thing was when he saw Mei Wei falling, he moved at the speed of light. His figure was blurred. At one moment he was standing there and the next moment he caught Mei Wei in his arms.

This scene was completely disbelieving and he knew if he told anyone nobody would believe him. Thus, he wanted to observe Aman more. He looked at the happening quarrel.

Aman helped Mei Wei to stand up. Luo Li also stood behind them. She looked quite worried. Mei Wang mocked Mei Wei, "You can't even face my light push and you dare to beat your elders. You shameless scoundrel!"

Mei Wang cursed his child in front of everyone like an outsider. But Mei Wei did not want to argue with him at this time. He yelled at him, "Why are you letting him in? Don't you know what he did with Aman? And I am not shameless your dear friend is, who returns to a house from where he was kicked out!"

Kevin was standing aside silently. But he was filled with joy after looking at the drama of father and son. Mei Wang did not care about what Mei Wei said, "So what? Isn't it just a servant boy? I don't know why you care about him so much. What if my friend enjoyed your caretaker for some time? I assure you he won't kill him."

Mei Wei was talking like it was a normal matter and nobody should care about what happened with a servant. Luo Li was going to give Mei Wang a piece of her mind when suddenly she heard the sound of a punch. She looked and saw Mei Wang lying on the ground, blood gushing out of his mouth.

Mei Wei spoke through gritted teeth, "Never spoke about my Aman in that way if you want to live. I have endured every humiliation until today because my grandpa taught me to respect my father, no matter how evil and awful he is. But I won't tolerate a word against my Aman. Keep this in your pea-size brain!!"

Mei Wang was also blinded by anger now because he thought he was completely humiliated by his son in front of everyone. He got up and grabbed Mei Wei from his collar ready to fight.

But before both of them could fight further Aman, Luo Li and some servants rushed and pulled both of them aside. It was pretty difficult for the others to control them. They were still trying to get themselves free from the grasp of others and fight.

However, their verbal argument continued. Mei Wei yelled, "This house is mine. My grandpa left it to me, you acquired the ownership by fraud. I will decide who can or cannot live in the house."

Mei Wang also yelled in response, "The court will decide to whom this belongs to. But at present, I am also the 30% owner of the house and I will decide who can live with me. So, I announced Kevin qualified to live with me in the house. If you have so many problems from me and my friends, leave the house and live elsewhere."

But Mei Wei was not taking it, he cursed, "You bastard! I won't leave the house, you will. Just let me catch you and I will teach you a proper lesson today!!!"

Aman knew this argument was not going to end today without one of them getting injured. He did not want Mei Wei to even have a scratch, so how could he bear him getting injured by Mei Wang in the fight. Therefore, he chose to compromise this time. He let go of Mei Wei and motioned the other servants to hold him.

He walked over to the centre of them. He looked at Mei Wang and started speaking formally, "Stop this fight and I assure you we will leave the house."

Mei Wang and Kevin went still and stopped pulling themselves to fight. Mei Wei was dumbfounded with the statement whereas Mei Wang smirked in triumph.

Mei Wei asked disbelievingly, "Aman what are you saying?"

Aman turned towards him and reassured him, "Believe me, my prince. What I am saying is good. We can leave the house until we win the case against him. That way at least we wouldn't have to see their ominous faces. Please believe me."

Mei Wei looked at Aman's pleading face. He knew why Aman was trying to get out of the house. Because he knew a fight like this was inevitable between him and Mei Wang. And he may probably get seriously injured with it which Aman never wanted. The result of their case would come in a few days and he was sure that they would win. Until then this shameless man will get on his nerves again and again. Thus it was better for him to leave. But he did not want to be defeated by his father. However, when he looked at Aman's pleading face he could not help himself.

He took a long breath and said, "Okay, we are leaving, but once we win the case we will come back and kick you out of the house." He heard Mei Wang saying, 'Dream on', however, he decided to ignore it as he did not want to start a fight again.

But his announcement was not complete yet, he continued speaking, "But we are not going alone. Sister Li is also coming with us because her parents and my friend Mo Chan told me to care for her while she is in the city." At this Luo Li also agreed. Mei Wang clenched his fists in anger and dejection. Mei Wei further spoke, "Also all the servants at Mei Mansion are rewarded with paid holidays until we come back."

The servants' faces lit up after hearing this. They also did not want to serve arrogant Mei Wang and his snobbish friends. Mei Wei mocked Mei Wang and Kevin, "If you want to get something done, either hire a new servant for the time being, which is quite difficult with your reputation or a better option Do It Yourself, father..."

He turned and went in the direction of his room. Others also followed the cue. They had to pack their luggage. Mei Wang stomped his foot in anger.

However, Kevin was not dejected by this situation. His plan could work more efficiently in Mei Wei's absence. He can easily look for Mei Wei's foreign projects to formulate the next step of his plan...
