Upon leaving their classroom brimming with newfound knowledge and excitement for what their future holds at school after stepping outside Kai and his friends were surrounded by the vibrant energy of the school grounds.

The group gathered under the shade of a towering cherry blossom tree, where delicate petals danced in the breeze, adding a serene backdrop to their conversation.

Leon, always the first to speak up, broke the silence. "Wow! That test was certainly something else, don't you think? Who would've thought we could make such progress in just one week?"

Aoi agrees with him while showing eyes full of the determination felt by all, "It's amazing how much focus and dedicated practice can accomplish.

I'm proud of us all."

Ethan chimed in, his voice filled with a mix of excitement and ambition. "Absolutely! But let's not forget, this is just the beginning. There's so much more to explore and accomplish."

With a thoughtful smile, Kai finally spoke up. "You're right, Ethan. This is only the starting point. We've worked hard to reach this stage, and now it's time to choose our paths."

Aoi turned her gaze towards Kai, curiosity shining in her eyes. "So, Kai, have you made up your mind? Which department do you think suits you best?"

Kai pondered for a moment, his mind racing with possibilities. "I've given it a lot of thought, and I believe the Combat Department aligns with my goals. I want to hone my martial skills and experience the thrill of battle."

Leon grinned, his competitive spirit reignited.

"Well, if you're going for the Combat Department, count me in too!

I can't resist the allure of intense training and honing my fighting abilities."

Ethan nodded in agreement. "I'll join you as well. It'll be a journey filled with challenges, but I'm up for it."

Aoi, with a smile of determination, added, "If you're all going for the Combat Department, then count me in as well."

In their preparation to depart from the educational institution, an unmistakable voice called for their attention.

It was Master Liang's presence.

Advancing towards the group with a gentle smile on his face.

Master Liang's face showcased immense pride while looking at his students' decisions.

"Ah, I see you've made your choices," he remarked, his eyes filled with pride.

"The Combat Department will benefit greatly from your dedication and passion. But remember, the path you've chosen requires perseverance and discipline. It won't be easy, but it will be worth it."

"We understand, Master Liang." the friends replied in unison.

With those parting words, Master Liang bid them farewell, leaving the friends with a sense of determination and anticipation.

As they left the school, the group continued their conversation, walking together until they reached a point where their paths diverged.

"Guys remember when Master Liang said we need 100 spiritual energy units to achieve Novice Rank? Do you think it's possible to surpass this requirement before reaching the rank?"

Leon and Aoi looked puzzled and curious as they listened attentively.

Leon responded, "You raise an interesting point, Kai. We should consider asking Master Liang for more information tomorrow in class. "

Aoi nodded, her eyes sparkling with anticipation. "Yeah, it would be better to ask tomorrow from Master Liang."

Consenting with one another they bid each other farewell and continued on their separate paths home.

Upon arriving home after an exhilarating day at school earlier that afternoon;

Kai made it a point to change out of his clothes swiftly before busying himself with various activities until dinner preparations were evident.

With the family gathered around the table at mealtime that evening, his mother asked about his day.

Kai's face lit up with excitement as he shared the news. "Today was incredible, Mom. I had the highest amount of spiritual energy in the class, and even Master Liang was surprised."

His family listened intently.

After dinner, Kai retreated to his room, his body and mind yearning for rest.

Instead of practicing like usual, he chose sleep over training tonight eagerly anticipating what's to come in tomorrow's classes.
