It's Not A Dream

City J, February 4th, 2022.

Viona jolted awake and opened her eyes with a horrified expression. Her eyes darted around in panic.

"Where-"

She swallowed hard, trying to steady her breathing. The unbearable pain in her body from the car crash still lingered as a vivid memory.

Viona shook her head, attempting to push the bloody scene out of her mind. Slowly, she began to calm down and surveyed her surroundings without panic.

"Okay. Calm down, Viona, stay calm and analyze your surroundings. Just like you always do after shooting. Stay calm!" Viona murmured to herself, taking a deep breath and exhaling.

"Huh... am I in my room?" she said, puzzled. "Shouldn't I be dead? Even if I didn't die from the crash, I should be in the hospital right now, not in my room. Ah, could I be in a coma and just woke up after months in the hospital?" Viona immediately shook her head. "No, that's impossible. I remember my room wasn't like this-"

Viona furrowed her brow when she saw her school uniform hanging in the closet. "Is that my high school uniform?" Viona exclaimed in amazement. She got up from her bed and promptly stumbled.

"Shit! What the f-" Viona's expletive was cut short as she saw the cause of her stumble was a thick book titled 'METAPHYSICS.'

Viona blinked, then slowly got up, picking up the book. "This brings back memories. The last time I read this was back in school, and I didn't even finish it. But why is it here?" she mumbled, placing the book on her study table.

The sound of a vibrating phone made Viona furrow her brows. She remembered she had her own ringtone for her phone, so why was it just vibrating? Shaking her head slightly, Viona searched for the source of the sound and found a smartphone beneath her blanket.

Viona furrowed her brows again when she saw the large model of the smartphone. Then her gaze focused on the time on the phone screen.

The phone slipped from Viona's hand as she stared in disbelief.

2022?!

"WHaT tHE fvCk?!"

"Viona, language!"

The familiar shout made Viona fall silent. It was Mom's voice. Viona distinctly remembered because they had just video called her a moment before the accident.

Viona rushed down to the first floor, where Mom was watching a soap opera and Dad was flipping through reports. Holding back tears, Viona tightly hugged her mother.

"Oof! Viona, what's wrong with you, honey?" Mom asked with concern.

"Honey, do you need Daddy to call a doctor?" Dad also looked worried. It was the first time Viona hugged her mother at home. Viona might be a bit of a spoiled child, but she wasn't the type to easily engage in erm- let's say, physical affection. Usually, she only hugged her parents in public, and only on certain occasions. So, it was understandable that her parents were concerned about Viona's behavior.

"Wuv yu..." Viona mumbled somewhat incoherently.

"Oh Honey, we love you too. Now, why don't you get ready and change your clothes? Isn't today your first day as a student in acting class?"

Viona fell silent.

Acting class? Wait-

IT'S NOW 2022!

That meant... 15 years ago? The day she finally won the argument with her parents who had opposed her becoming an actress! Also... the day she would meet Queena for the first time. The woman who orchestrated the accident that happened to her. And very likely the reason why Viona faced so many troubles at the agency.

"Okaaaaay!!!!" Viona exclaimed, then ran back to her room.

She quickly put on her uniform before sitting back on her bed. Trying to process everything that would happen over the next few years.

Viona would still become an actress, but this time... she would establish her own agency. And... if you have a famous background, why hide it?

Viona used to be so naive, believing that the entertainment world was so wonderful. Of course, now she wouldn't be that naive anymore. She would proudly use her family name! And she would prove to everyone that she was the best actress they could hope for!

Besides that... Viona had to make sure she wouldn't be friends with that traitor. If Queena could easily instruct anti-fans to crash into her, who knew what other crimes she had committed?

Viona still remembered the incident a few years ago... or a few years from now? When an anti-fan threw acid at her during a fan meeting in City P. It landed her in the hospital for weeks, causing her to miss an audition for a movie that eventually made Queena the lead. Viona also remembered that when news of her hospitalization spread, her panicked parents rushed to the hospital and got into an accident. It left both of them paralyzed.

Thinking back... it seemed impossible that it was just a coincidence, given what Queena had done to her. It was highly likely... that Queena was behind it all.

Viona took a deep breath. She didn't like thinking about that awful woman, but... she couldn't help but remember all the bad events that happened to her family. And who benefited from those events? Queena.

This made Viona suspicious and think that Queena befriended her to destroy her. And that had been happening since they were 15! Right on the first day Queena proclaimed herself as Viona's friend at school because Viona was known as an ordinary student on a scholarship at that prestigious school.

Viona grinned. She didn't want anyone to look down on her for being just an ordinary person. But she also didn't want people to approach her because they wanted to use her family name for their own gain. If that's the case... of course, Viona would become an Ice Princess who looked down on everyone and showed them that approaching Viona wouldn't be easy.

It was time to utilize her acting lessons, which were 15 years ahead of the other students. After all, Viona had been recognized as an international actress with many awards. Acting with amateur students would be a piece of cake.

Viona laughed gleefully. She could ask Dad or her siblings to buy shares in companies that she knew would boom in the future. Besides, she could ask them to invest in businesses that she distinctly remembered would be promising in the years to come! And... of course, she would learn about the entertainment business so she could establish her own entertainment company.

Hmmm... there were so many things for Viona to consider, and how would she tell her family about all this later? Ah! Right now, she had to go to school, but later she could jot down all the things she would do.

"Viiii, you're going to be late," Mom's voice snapped Viona out of her thoughts.

Viona grabbed her bag and ran to the living room with a wide smile. "I'm reaaady~"
