King Xia takes a sip of his red wine as he asks,"When they finally get there, what's going to happen?"

"Nothing special." King Qing says with a playful glint in his eyes.

"Turn the car around Mr Liu, I would like to pay Jin Jing a visit". Lu Chen orders as he rests he resumes his former position of resting his head on the head rest.

"It's time he got some much awaited answers"....

Lu Chen approaches an ornately decorated wooden staircase.

Looking around the house, he realised that the house was exactly the same as it had been when he was four years old. Almost everything was wooden. Even the house was a wood cottage. From the furniture to most of the cooking utensils to even the window panes and some actual windows.

This wasn't actually a surprise to him because the elemental power of the Seer, Jin Jing was earth but however, she couldn't control earth but trees.

She was a Taurus true and true. It was a well known fact that Taurus were Steady, goal Driven, persistent and trust worthy, they were also possessive and resistant to change. Out of the twelve star signs, The Taurus were the most stubborn which certainly explained why Jin Jing couldn't move on from the death of her mate and refused to change the interior decor of the house even after 14 years of loss.

However, summer time visits when he was a bit over five years old told him that the time dimension in the world of the Magick was absolutely different from that of humans. A century in the Magick realm was just equivalent to a year in mortal realm. so it must have passed several centuries since the loss of her beloved. The time difference was really what made witches and seer want to stay in the human world. They only inflicted dark magic or evil when you provoked them and not purposely as usually misconstrued by humans.

lu Chen gives a reluctant shake of his head as he think of humans and their ways. His musings are interrupted when the tell tale sound of wood hitting the ground.

A grey haired woman with her hair in a tight bun atop her head, donning a ligh blue gown walks down the stair case, her feet clothed with wooden flip flops, on seeing Lu Chen, she breaks into a megawatt smile and makes to hug him. He hugs her back admist groans. "Hello son, you came a bit too early for the revelation".

What do you mean revelation, am I in some type of trouble? Is my life going to end? Lu Chen asks, he is perplexed and frustrated of the unknown.

"Calm down son and follow me". Jin Jing leads Lu Chen to her "room of the crafts."

Before they enter the room, they take off their shoes as per the procedure for entering a witch's sanctuary.

They sit on the floor with their legs crossed. Jin Jing motions to some wooden carvings on the wall and they swirl to life forming an intricate pattern and eventually, they form a Crystal ball..

'Did a crystal ball just evolve from wood?!' Lu Chen is baffled.

Jin Jing seems to sense his state of surprise as she explains briefly; 'I called a rune.'

If Lu Chen knew what a rune was, he didnt tell. Jin Jing stares at the ball, her brows knotted in astute determination and seriousness.

She places her hands strategically on the sides of the crystal ball as if led by some unseen coordinates and suddenly, the ball glows to life.

It doesn't show bright light like other common crystal balls, rather, a galaxy of stars swirling in the core of the ball in perfect harmony, thus giving it a dark but peaceful vibe and instantly, Lu Chen gradually relaxes as the muscles on his back slowly uncoil.

"Place your right palm above the ball," Jin Jing seems to have transformed from the motherly old woman from earlier to a poker faced, contemplative seer.

Lu Chen complies and when he lays his palm atop the the crystal, the ball seems to shrink under the weight of his palm.

Lu Chen pales and Jin Jing gasps loudly when the ball jerks out from beneath his palm and rolls to the ground with a resounding crash!!!!

The formerly still galaxy of stars in the ball breaks open and swirls violently in the centre of the room, within seconds, it has sucked up almost all non–living things on the room, Jin Jing and Lu Chen barely hold on as they grasp the wooden frame of the door.

Jin Jing tries to recite some spells but all efforts prove useless when the galaxy grows even more turbulent.

The seer is frustrated as her hair which was formerly packed in a bun falls free from its hold and cascades down her back unto the floor. "Do something you errant child, all these is all your doing".

"What did I do?!" Lu Chen asks. It appears that the crazy seer wanted him to stop the unusual hurricane in the centre of the room. Then, acting on impulse, he lifts up his left hand and the air halts. He then walks to the centre of the room where the thick hole of the Galaxy lay.

He puts his hand into the hole and refocused his energy on thinking about Li Jing. And then electric impulses burst through the galaxy making some stars to drop but for the most part, they start to disappear into nothingness.

Jin Jing rushes to pick up the fallen stars as she is a magick slash elemental and was not easily affected by magic or air compulsion in this case.

But when Lu Chen conjures more thoughts about Li Jing, he realises something, The ground beneath them was vibrating and some pebbles which lay on the remaining shelves were also circling around each other, trying to create a portal of their own.

Jin Jing who was angrily muttering to her self pauses when she senses the movement and then her eyes widen as she breathes," Oh Shit.'
